Every Man for Himself
Greenskin is forever!
They introduced race and faction changes with wotlk so we’re likely getting that again then, if we get that far.
I ain’t re-rolling, Horde 4 lyfe, there will be a few of course but I doubt there will be that many.
I think the better question is how many gnomes and dwarves will re-roll humans?
Cause I guarantee that when WotLK Classic rolls around the gnome and dwarf population will vanish, since they’re the go-to races for min-maxers.
I’m always a dwarf hunter, so even if I could, I wouldn’t.
But yes, I’m sure there will be as many dwarves, gnomes and night elves going human as there will be Horde going Alliance.
Still, less shameful than re-rolling faction.
I would never change faction just because of racials no matter how good are they. I always play human paladin no matter what
I’d say a large chunk of horde will especially the Min maxers race/class
orc wars/rogues
Undead locks/rogues/priest
Ele shamans
These will be the biggest turncoats
Mm, debatable since Orcs are still strong in PvP even with how broken EMFH is, most rogues would have re-rolled Belf for that gloriously delicious kick-stun-torrent combo and if they did faction swap Gnomes are the better option since Escape Artist is stupidly good for rogues.
Locks would have stuck with Belfs, same situation as before with rogues.
Priests? Yeah probably, since the removal of racial spells opens up a lot more choices.
???
Human shamans are a thing…oh wait you mean in game!
Not sure I see the point of WotLK Classic. I get the hype of TBC Classic, as it is just a better version of Vanilla. WotLK introduced a lot of systems that moved away from the original game and people still complain about today.
^ There is your answer.
Every man for himself but greenskins are forever
I ain’t sure 2021 gonna go well, you thinkin of summer of 2022
…and ofc Human UDK!
I’ll reroll orc warrior. not just to honor history but to bladestorm for win.
a bit naive thinking there’s anyone left that’s here for the nostalgia and reliving their youth.
the way things are going we can only hope for a painless transition through both expansions and then leave this in the dust, just as with cata.
A lot, but not that much.
Faction change mean you lost the ability to play with your current faction friends, and with Classic and soon TBC, we all have friends on our current character faction. I will never trade the ability to play with my friends and guild for min-maxing and I guess most people are in the same boat.
Most people that will faction change Horde => Alliance will be PvP reroll to play arena on Alliance Side, but they will continue to play Horde main unless they really want to change side and start a new history in their journey, with a new guild.
And honestly, Every Man For Himself is a really good PvP racial, but it’s like Classic and TBC, racial don’t mean auto-win and are over-rated because when someone lost in PvP, they tend to focus on thing that aren’t their responsability.
I play UD Rogue and UD Mage on Classic, woho, I can avoid fears and charms, that help vs Warrior/Priest/Warlock, but after all, even with that, my Mage is destroyed by any Shadow Priest or SL Warlock that are good players, because they are my counter. Even a T1 Shadow Priest can kill me by just spamming SW:P and dispell + run away … And Warrior will die anyway without UD racial because Frost Mage is a counter.
Pretty much every serious PvPer (well a huge majority) will reroll Human if there class is human playable. Those who are comparing the race they play in classic and explaining the “minor” benefits it gives them in PvP is deluding themselves as from TBC onwards competitive PvP (I.e PvP that gives the best PvP gear/weapons) is a different beast as it’s Arena based and racial abilities in small scale PvP make a major difference.
Even in TBC you will see even more players rolling Horde because their racials are just that much better in PvP and in WoTLK Alliance will be the most played faction due to Every man for himself.
It’s already proven just check the figures from the most popular TBC/WoTLK private servers, it will be the same the only difference is the game is official this time but the players are still the same.
NEVER!! For the HORDE!
Agree with you Vanilla and TBC is classic. WotLK is where it started go downhill. I have no interest in playing on a WotLK server ever.
Cata was downhill.
