If you have a team of BWL raiders, how many people would you need to clear Zul’Gurub within a reasonable amount of time? Is it viable to split run?
If you have a team of BWL raiders, then you should have like 40 raiders.
You can split.
ZG is just a 20 man raid.
I was thinking split runs of ZG, I.E. 10 people. Is that possible?
You’re asking about a skill dependent thing. ZG isn’t hard but it’s made with 20 people in mind.

It IS a split run. It’s a 20 man raid. Also it has a 3 day reset. So easy to farm, gear up alts and all that jazz.
You need 2 tanks for some bosses, one can be feral so he can DPS on other bosses.
You will need 2-3 Healers, depending on skill level and how many consumes they want too use. And then minimum 5 top DPS. Fights will take longer but it is doable.
when he asks for split run he ofc means split ZG grps, aka is 10man possible. How can people be so dumb as too not understand that? lol -_-
It’s a 20 man raid - UBRS is a 10 man raid - you can always do it with less - but even if you are carrying those who are on attunement and quest runs - the extra bodies make it a breeze
So a small Raid team who are well geared and play together often - you do okay with less dps - but pugging you’ll have to understand that probably 25% of the raid are looking for a gear carry - most likely for alts - and that would be quite normal
