How many seasons and how much content we will have in TWW?

The recent nerfs to gearing are frustrating, especially since the expansion only lasts a year and we were promised more content.

Slowing down gearing doesn’t make sense, and using old dungeons again is disappointing. They need to balance gearing speed with the expansion’s duration and provide new content to justify the price of the expansion.

We were tricked into paying more for the same type of expansion. Despite promises of more content, slower gearing and reused old dungeons don’t justify the higher price.

I think it will have 3 seasons that are each ~6 months long and they’ll ditch the recycle season or merge it into the 3rd season.

As for content I think it will be the same as DF.

I have a feeling its gonna be one major patch and that’s it. They will try to spread two expansions into 3 to get more profit for less work .

Without any news, it will be exactly like this.
I recall an interview where they said that World Sage is a 6 years content, so this means every expansion is 2 years, same as now. Assuming this, will be 4 seasons around 25 weeks each (considering the 1 week of the patch from 2-4 and first month for the first one, and the one month prepatch).

Slowing down gear makes a lot of sense. It was just too easy to gear up, and didn’t feel rewarding at all.
Also if I recall (might be wrong here because I didn’t really care about the price), both heroic versions (not epic) for DF and TWW were 60 euros. Even if DF was 50, it will still be less inflation than for other daily products we consume IRL (Pepsi in my country almost doubled the price in the last year as an example, and there are plenty of others that are more than 20% more expensive). You might say that I shouldn’t compare, but in fact it’s the exact same thing: they sell a product, and the salaries I guess they are also adjusted to remain consistent with the economy.

Didn’t they promise shorter seasons and more content? not sure

U mean the m+ change? That has been reverted tbh.

The three seasons seem to be the standard atm. Then the recycled fourth season. We’ll see if they carry on with that. They did ask for feedback as to how people felt about it.

They said interconnected story not each expansion is a patch. If your gonna lie get better at it or at least listen to something before you quote it wrongly.
Cata through wod had an interconnected story with garrosh. Did they lose major patches because of this? Ik wod had one less then expected but that was not for this reason

The typical 4 seasons to a 2 year long expansion.

You can read my messages and you can clearly see that I am not sure, I am not making an official statement, we are discussing here now, forums are meant for that. You have to fix your perception if you see everyone as evil liars

Then I had a wrong perception of getting more content for the same price if the expansion is shorter. It makes zero sense to me

Yes fair but some people are just flat out spreading misinformation and lies. If your genuinely confused whether 3 expansions getting announced at once mean each is a major patch, you either need to listen or stop being thick

Erm source on the year part pls?

They might have misheard it or something, who knows until we get a reply? They did say at Blizzcon they wanted them shorter, but nothing really concrete from their end:

Thank you for the link

Am I CNN to you? Or wowhead at least? :joy:

I did think that was the context from Blizzcon, people on US forum also talk about it :man_shrugging:

I think reuse content is awesome

Positive thinking suggests me that the last awakened season will be removed in order to make the overall saga quicker. But that would be the most reasonable thing to do, so I’m not holding my hopes high

Or they remove it and we’re back to longer droughts
