How much do you jump in game?

Do you jump all the time, even in combat? Is it just while waiting for something? Or do you literally only jump when required?

A lot on DH and Evoker, sometimes on other classes in pvp, cause its contagious and other people jump.

Almost none in pve…

When required. Unless playing vulpera, cause flips. Also use DH and Evoker gliding when it boosts efficiency.

I don’t jump in combat but I do in between pulls, waiting around or on the way to the next boss I do.

Depends, some races are more fun than others to jump with like for example my elfs that spins in the air.

Often, and with ranged classes I always look for a good looking spot where to jump on while shooting. Happens with rogue as well when trying to fire the most heroic pistol shots, or right before ambushing someone.

Only when i spot a mouse running around :scream:

I remember years ago a raid boss required us to keep a specific distance from each other and we kept having to tell the jumpers off because they kept leaping into others.

I remember waiting for the spider rare on mechagon with a friend and he said “You can tell you’re ADHD, You’ve been jumping left and right for like 40 minutes”

When im in a city I always jump from tile to tile.

Mostly an idle time thing for me. Might bounce around a texture/structure and see if I can do it in an exact whole number of jumps. Just brain stuff.

I’m unlikely to jump in combat unless a mechanic needs it. Although sometimes my thumb just taps space anyway when running and it does no harm so I don’t bother breaking the habit :dracthyr_comfy_blue:

I love jumping. I’ve noticed when I’m in a happy mood I’ll do it more. But either way, plenty of bouncing around.

Actually yes. When you have to move out of an area, instead of holding W/A/S/D I just jump into a direction so my fingers are free for instacasting while I’m jumping.

I basically never stop jumping. I even jump, when I tank.

Whenever I enter an Instance I have to jump through. I can’t just run into it.

I’m pretty sure you aren’t supposed to just run into them, if you’re lucky it will only take your boots and if you’re unlucky it’ll take your feet too if you don’t jump through the instance portal.

One fight i was healing id start a cast on a dude and hed hop out of range only to hop back in a second later after the cast had failed

‘Y u no heal me?’

When i rule the world i’ll staple their feet to the ground.

You could say im an expert at jumping >.>

but on my DH and Dracthyr, there is a mechanic where right before you pop wings and hit the ground you press space, then it propels you forward, and you can execute it back to back, which makes it faster than running

for those times you need to run back to group when you died xD

I jump on the occasion for numerous reasons:

  1. For fun from time to time.
  2. When I am playing Fire mage so I do not end up hardcasting during Combustion.
  3. I jump at times to make sure that the server updates my current position.

Balance druid has it default bake into the class.
They have jump a first universal talent earned at level 10

I rarely jump in combat unless required, but out of combat I do tend to jump quite a bit. Sometimes more, sometimes less. I consider this a fidget thingy.
