How much gold do you make a week

This is not about showing off. I want true values.

Hardcore raiders, m+ and pvpers who do what is necessary in gameplay for example, buy flasks from AH, enter dungeon and kill stuff. Is your bank balance in negative ie gold/greys from the dungeon does not generate enough gold.

Flippers do you make a gazillion million?

Casuals doing LFR, emissaries, the odd mythic+, mission board and some pet battles. Do you make much gold?

I’ve been playing this game since vanilla. Some massive gaps of not playing but considering quite how many hours I have played this game and the number of alts I have and only have 2.8m gold. It really isnt that much for years of gameplay. I’ve done a little AH but definitely not much which means playing the actual game as in World of Warcraft, important word here “WAR” which means killing stuff not spam clicking an NPC in Stormwind AH does not yield enough gold.

I think I lost half a million since bfa because of flasks, scrolls, drums, food, etc.

Probably end up 10k on the plus side on average after each week, and I don’t do any activities that would count as farming gold or making it really. Sometimes I get lucky with BOE’s etc. I have about 700k gold on all of my characters combined, and I mainly do raids and other PvE content.

I’ll be lucky if I make 5k a week, and that’s across multiple characters.
The alt grind isn’t as fun in BFA as it was in Legion.

Really not that much maybe like 10-100k a week depending on if I’m actually farming.

There are probably way better ways to make gold but I’ve never been that good at playing the AH. I’m simple minded and just go mine ores and sell them, and make a lot of my raid consumables myself (feasts etc.)

When I returned in September I had around 90k spread across chars. I quit in early MoP and that was decent back then.

I’m now 9 months later, at around 350k. I’ve bought a token and a few mounts in the process.

These days I’m not leveling any new alts and I’m mostly doing M+. I only pop flasks on my tanks, but those are made by my two alchemists.

I’m now making anywhere between 5k and 30k a week depending on faction rewards and EQs. Across all chars.

About 200-250k a week I think.

Made 350k this month, currently standing at 6.6m gold, tho I don’t raid so no repairs to speak of.

Edit I also buy tokens every month for subs

Unfortunately i don’t make so much golds as i used to during Legion and WoD.
As a AH player (i don’t farm gathering mats, and i no longer have time to flip mats, so i sell mostly transmogs and current content BoE), i think that the remouval of the gold missions from the commander’s table hit hard the players that don’t know how to make golds, so peoples tend to buy less, and for less amount of golds.
Probably i’m doing about 150K at week, maybe more, it depends from week to week.

It varies tbh. since i try to keep many chars up to date and consumables etc. eating focus sometimes… But I’d say I average about 75k or so not doing anything special. However if I really wanted to earn gold, I could probably make quite alot very quickly.

I don’t make any gold, but I don’t really try to make any gold either. Once in a blue moon I get a BoE I might sell on the AH, but that is very rare.

Pretty much maintenance mode. Doing emissary and expeditions on 4 chars, gold and rune missions and some transmog raids. Overall 70-100k per week, depends on pet drops in expeditions and amount of paragon chests.

Depends, If im boosting I easily make 100k+ in a day, but I hate that method of gold making and so just reach 100k and then stop until I deplete the gold.

Stupid yes, but I just find it scummish to do and since blizzard decided that the only ways to make gold this expansion is by

1- Token
2- AH flipping
3- Boosting

I choose boosting.

Have been counting gold since august 2018 and so far I just reached at 107k gold.

So 8 month in and I made 107k gold, which is the max that I ever had.

I make on average 50k a week. I don’t farm, I rarely flip. I make enough gold for a token + 100k every month then relax.
I have a few 120s at max level and use professions to make money. If I’m levelling, I sell all the greens from dungeons and get enchanting to disenchant and mining, try and get some fel iron and/or cobolt on the way up. Mainly cooking, enchanting and inscription making my gold atm though.

Well what we did this week was basic, get 2 pugs, get on my warrior and a friend tell the pugs we are boosting and we sell the boost for 70k, split 35k between me and said friend, basically 3 runs = 100k.

It’s a win win, pugs get to 2-3 chest a +10, boosted player gets to buy a cheap boost, and me and my friend get 35k gold :slight_smile:

However we do this method only on easy weeks because otherwise we would have to rely on a third very good friend which is near nonexistent atm :frowning: most of friends quit / play casual.
