So I just looked.

I have almost exactly the same amount of gold I had at end of Legion, so I seem to be earning nothing, except a Token a month, because I’m keeping my Tokens stocked up OK. I don’t quite know how, because I’m barely doing anything in BfA, but them’s the numbers.

I only went down due to buying a 74k mog and having to raid (500G+ per pot, mats for one were even more expensive at times). Not by alot because I’m fairly conservative and stable but still 300k down (this includes also buying the recipes etc.). Unless you jumped intro professions early there is not much gold.

Usually get it from grays as I have Elvui I just press a button when I go to a vendor.

Funny, I mentioned ELVUI… if anyone has it this will make them chuckle. For those who don’t, I’ll elaborate a tad.

If I press “B” to open bags, there is a “vendor greys” button, it vendors all your junk you don’t need and turns it into gold. Here’s the funny part…

If you use it when you’re not at a vendor, it actually destroys the items. I always thought “WOW!!! I can get gold without being at a vendor! Amazing!”

Normally when I vendor my greys its 6g 20g 50g. During BFA I needed some felslate so I hopped on my hunter and killed basilisks in Suramar. I vendored for like 700g! what what? I had farmed for a fair while mind you. I was surprised some basilisk brains or whatever were so desirable by a npc in dalaran

Not much i don’t see the point in hoarding gold as most really expensive mounts are butt ugly or useless as mounts as i never see anybody really riding with yak or that AH dino mount both are just too big.

Not really farming for gold nowadays. Mostly doing bgs, some islands and some quests.
Around 15000 to 50000 a week depending on what drops on the islands

Nowadays I make around 200k-300k a gold per month, so that’s between 50k-95k a week, mostly from just rep paragon caches from my 3 characters.
There’s also runes that I occasionally sell, as well as pets and transmog that I get from islands along with their missions.
There’s also feasts, flasks, pots, gems that I put on the ah every few days but other than feasts they don’t really bring that much gold.

Used to get around 200k-220k in the last few months of Legion when I boosted, was an enjoyable time.

Haven’t paid for my WoW sub since the token came out in WoD, really nice.

I play the game, its as simple as that, I don’t raid, I rarely sell on the AH, I just play the game, Paragon chests, doing WQ’s etc, you know ‘Playing the Game’!

I don’t boost, I dont purchase tokens with cash for gold, and I don’t mine or herb (which is playing the game btw).

Interest do the thing for me, nowaday i barely have any interest in gold it is very sad when i go into the auction house there is not anymore that mount or that piece of gear who will make me want to become a lawn shark anymore.

Some years ago when i wanted many things in the auction house i used to play the auction game in a decent way i would say but offensive from my realm mate.

Back on topic i make 14 k a week just on transmutation alone 5 to 6 k just as reward from the random battlegrounds, just fr info i don’t take part in any pve content as a choice unless my best friend want her personnal jesus to heal him and unless he does an arena session with me =).

I would do just afk Herb and mining and multitaksing it with a Movie or something on other or same monitor

thats because you play on the argent dawn. Normal people on normal servers do use them plenty. like 30% of what i see people on ar the mammoth vendor one, the yak or the ah dino mount
