I whispered mage for portal, he said 5g. I said I don’t have the gold, to be fair I only had 1g and like 70silver. I told him I have that amount and he made me the portal. I traded the gold but refused. I traded again and refused. He asked me why a low level (I was lvl 20) needed a portal to Dalaran and I explained that at low level, having 5 portals is way better than a Hearthstone to a local place. I thanked him and left the group. I copied his name and went on another toon and mailed him 200g and thanked him for being so kind.
It doesn’t take much in this world to be kind. And it does pay off, as now I have technically paid him for 39 portals he can do for free to other people, like he did to me.
I highly doubt it’s lazy, it’s more practical and more smart, but at the cost of currency. - Lazy? No, definitely not. There is such a thing as only thinking about things in a negative way, instead of thinking of a balanced version. - Such as cons on one side, pros on another.
