How much would you be willing to pay in gold for an instant dungeon?

With the removal of RDF I plan to use the new tool to make people pay a gold fee to join runs I’ll be tanking. I also plan to reserve the Frozen Orb (or setup a light gdkp in case people need it, especially early on) and setup alt runs later on when leveling phase is over.
How much can I expect to make with the whole inflation since a tank shortage will 100% happen despite dual and the introduction of a new tank?

U won’t? Because anyone in a guild raiding will have enough guildies who can tank to gear for raids in heroic dungeons. Those who don’t won’t be willing to pay one who doesn’t even have raid gear first week.

Also Obv troll post.

Huh? Bold of you to assume I target the guildies demographic. You might have a guild and available tanks there but that’s a you situation, not a general situation.

That people like just destroy the classic. Go away and play another game u retard gold farmer. U just make player hate this very nice game. U … Booster gdkp farmer

What? I’m not a gold farmer. I don’t get involved in the raiding gdkp nor am I trying to hoard gold or boost anyone. I’m just trying to make some gold as a tank. That’s just basic mmo economy and it was something that was already present at the time too.

No need to be rude, just enjoy the game.

Well it’s not a new thing, We did so in classic and classic Tbc. Selling ourself or claiming all the un needed loot inside the dungeon. But it only really worked when we were overgeared. So more of a thing after u get full raid gear.

So you’re saying that it would work? Alright then!

I seen multiple tanks selling the service for the orbs and unwanted in early TBC and Classic. - I don’t really like that people do this, but hey, Blizzard wont do anything about it, because #noChange, #someChangesThough, #screwTheMinorities.

I don’t even care anymore, I doubt they are actively trying to ruin what is left of the game.

Troll post but highlights why gold boosting should be banned.

It isn’t? I don’t understand why it is fine for a random person to, lets say, farm ressources in the open world then sell the goods that took x amount of time spent but it isn’t okay for a tank to sell his time for convenience? At the end of the day it’s a matter of perspective. I see it as an offer/demand kind of think with high demand and low offer.

I dont see it as a problem, “its basic capitalism, baby”.
Someone offers something others need for a price. Buyer can choose if they want to pay for service, or wait for better offer.
No one is forced to buy that service, nor buy gold to afford that service. Some people do and its their los… choice.
I allready sell overpriced portals to people who first get angry about the 5g price and then buy it since there is no one else selling them at that time. Capitalism!

Well, i used to pay 0 in tbc. So in wotlk it is likely be 0 or 0

Much as I hate the idea, yes it will. Tanks selling their ‘‘services’’ are a thing in burning crusade already

I plan not to sell myself but invite only casters to grp as tank. Silently hard resing dps gear for my ret main

  • then expect the same return of the people you played with
  • people will not like you, you won’t be called for raids, you wont be given free crafting or materials, help with your stuff.

I have healed wotlk dungeons back then for materials, crafting, gear, help with quests or achievements, farming, people always bombarded me with invites to raids, farms, achi runs… you name it. But that was my goal.

Golds are useless, unless you wish to overpay for everything… like lol, find yourself some decent guild and create dungeon groups with friends.

Funny that you assume I don’t have a guild over classic. Making gold running dungeons is just a side activity.

You make that comment as if the community aspect is important as it was back in the day but we both know that the community today is just an empty shell outside of guilds. People come and go and migrate on other servers on a whim.

Also I find it funny that you expect people to help you because you helped them. It’s like offering a gift in hopes the one you’ll receive will have more value. I’ll help my guild without expecting any help in return because this is what generosity is about.

Im not rude to u mate. Maybe little hard but what i want to say when i play vanilla and tbc as warrior tank and holy priest in my side i we will always doing dungeon helping people as tank healer and never ever reserve or do such thing. And in this way finding thousand of thousand friend. What’s u do its ok and many do that too. Its just my play style dont know what to say

I won’t pay.
And I am going to tank for a summons and money for FP and repair just to ruin the business for players like you!

In wotlk probably healers will reserve orbs. After dks you wont be the special snowflake.

Nothing.

RDF was in the original WOTLK
