How old is your character?

I thought this would be interesting to go into as I don’t really see character age being brought up much.

Tek would’ve been born on Draenor and would’ve been around 24-26 when the Orcs attacked the Draenei which would put him at roughly 50 now which is actually still quite young for a Draenei.

I am an elf so I must be hundred of years old . :stuck_out_tongue:

Dangerbeard is 38. She spent roughly the time between Classic WoW and the Cataclysm buring, murdering and exploding her way across Khaz Modan in the name of the Dark Iron Clan until she was sold out and caught, spending the time between the Cataclysm and now locked up in a little cell underneath Ironforge.

Brigante is 1,404, hence his guild refer to him when he thinks that he can’t hear him, as “the Old Man”. Given what we know of Elven lifespan, that pretty much puts him in his thirties or forties in human terms. He missed the actual Troll Wars, which ended 1,400 years before he was born, but there were still rogue bands of Amani, and insurgent attacks, but other than that, he lived in an idyllic world of peace, a member of the Alliance, until King Anasterian withdrew from it. The last few decades of horror and war have almost been too quick to deal with, after living in a golden age of peace…

Therendel has been alive for a few thousand years and as such has the prestiege knowledge and right to know that the Sin’dorei is most potent, wise and superior breed upon this world.

He may or may not also suffer from the thing called powerful self awareness pride.

Larjianneu is 23 years old. Yep. She did not see that much of history.

My understanding is that while she is more or less physically mature , she is by no means considered an adult by her own people.

80something I think.

I mean she would be considered an adult…
the same way a 23 is considered in western culture probably…

Zymara is old like dirt
So old, she actually forgot parts of her own past, and thanks to her insanity and connection to the Void, she is not sure the things she remembers are really happened or just the many possibilites that could have been, paths not taken shown her by the Darkness… :eyes:
But the truth is, she is from Argus, where she was - and in a sense she still is - a scholar of antiquities. She was young archeologist who loved the past and was fond of the ancient Eredar culture, like phrenology, technology, customs, music and the now forgotten past of her race.
The adventurous expeditions - a bit Lara Croft or Indiana Jones style - , friendly (and not that friendly) rivalries, digging up and preserving (some times stealing) relics and to reclaim old and forgotten knowledges from the hungry jaws of the all-devouring Time… those were the things wich gave the young Eredar girl an exciting life full of wonderful, wonderful adventures! She even admired Master Thal’kiel and his quest for knowledge (but not his display of symbolic destruction of the “past” by those Infernal meteor swarm that destroyed his creations) and even today she belives His knowledge of Demons maybe would helped their race to see thrugh Sargeras’ lies and could have been used to defeat the Legion (wich in her eyes were nothing more than a ragtag band of demons without any real central leadership, after all, thats why the Dark Titan recruited the Eredar, to be leader 'brains" of the whole organization).
When Valen gathered his supporters she joined them, beliving the Prophet would lead them to victory and free Argus befor its too late…
…but when the Naaru ship arrived and “saved them”, her mind shattered, like a mirror, as she was forced to watch her beloved planet from above as its became smaller and smaller as the ship fled with them in to the unknown… and she ralized everything she worked for and loved was lost and destroyed or worse - altered!
How she found the cold and welcoming embrace of the Void is another story not technically related her age, so I will not bore you with it :smirk:

Indeed.

I always thought how funny Night Elven family gatherings might be.

Your 1923yr old grandmother might be there, and she looks just as youthful as your 346yr old body. Also, your 82 year old granddaugther is there as well. And your grandmother is telling all of you she could beat all of you in a 3000 meter run.

To any human wandering into said party, you’d all look like you’d be in your 20s!

Cue inevitable awkwardness!

Croecell died young, which for an elf could vary wildly.

Both my Nightborne are over 10k years old, they were both there for the first Legion invasion.

My human is in her late 30s.

Terintha and Razuun are ancient; Terintha was a very young adult during the first Sundering and Razuun was born on Argus.

Astrophel is late-20s now, early-30s… And has been for a while!

Might as well do the others. This ray of pure sunshine named Rorick was born in Duskwood and is now in his early twenties, which is probably quite obvious to anyone that has been paying any attention at all to my posts.

Roessler, the human paladin, got his first taste of war in the Second War as a squire, which puts him somewhere in his fifties, though he would probably insist that he stopped counting the years at twenty-five. He is not entirely truthful on that part.

Womp is a number that he can’t count to, but it’s estimated by others that he’s around 20-25, given how he was born and raised in Hammerfall after the defeat of the Horde in the Second War.

I haven’t settled on a precise number myself, but I OOCly will usually throw around early 20’s.

Talraea’s somewhere over a century, maybe as high as two hundred. I don’t have a specific number, as it’s never really important, but she’s been a Farstrider for a bit over a hundred years and spent most of that time scouting around, keeping the Trolls in check, and eventually helping the Alliance in the various wars.

We gotta make some headcannons. I think it is generally assumed that Sin’dorei and Quel’dorei consider themself adults in their own society around 120 while Kaldorei do that around 300.

So far we have no clue about Shal’dorei

I can’t speak for Kal’dorei but Quel’dorei/Sin’dorei are Adulscent from they are 20 and can live up a few Thousand years as a whole.
Assuming they are not killed before by outter elements such as Sickness, murder etc.

They can live very long lives or they can barely live that of a Human’s lifespan.
So, at least in their case and their present Society I’d argue that no one is told to live Another Century.

Well. At the end of the day we got no definitive answer to how long each race lives and how they develop. My intention was to portray Larjianneu as elf during this period where she is not a child by any means but also not yet proper adult in the eyes of her people. Number associated with that plays secondary role.

For Nightborne
Yeah She’s definately not seen as a fully matured Adult.

Azura is thousand years old she drinks beer and smokes cigars!
