i started in like janaury or february 2004 1 week afther wow beta came out.

well it came out in my shop in eu when i was in high school. so i bought a physical copy in july 2005?

20, but I didn’t play WoW till mid-late TBC [early 2008].

Was too engrossed with other MMOs during Vanilla and before, such as Legend of Mir, Myth of Soma, Mu Online and Ragnarok Online to name a few… and was playing Space Cowboy [Ace Online] before I decided to hop in on WoW. :stuck_out_tongue:

i was 9. my parents got me the game for my 11th birthday. or rather, they got me a 60 day game card and ended up having to go buy the actual game. i remember downloading patches for 48 hours on dial-up.

I think thats more due to ‘elitists’ having this silly idea that they are somehow a ‘big deal’ whilst the older generation just tuts, turns to their valet and says “Hold my coat will you” roll up their sleeves and say "Listen Me Laddio, you don’t -know- what hard games are, or how difficult they can be. Did you ever have to do that godawful vertical level on ‘Turrican’, or get chased around the Eiffel Tower by Toulouse Lautrec in ‘Auf Wiedersehen Monty’? Or have to circumnavigate the entire island in reverse whilst being followed by Long John Silver in ‘Treasure Island’?
