WoW isn’t a game arena soloq would work too well in. Others have already said it (this isn’t a moba/shooter and classes you get would be a defining factor since everyone is locked into just one), and I absolutely agree with it. People are saying “but everyone would get bad comps!!!”, however getting something like mage-mm-mw where more or less all your cc shares dr on setup-oriented specs against dh-warrior-hpriest is still a matchup heavily in favour of the latter because they can just win with…

majority of players are stuck around 1,5k rating, that’s more than 50% according to:

Those players aren’t having fun, they are tired, bored and probably will quit the game because they can’t find a way to participate in arena without chance to improve.

Not everyone is able to become gladiator and wow is not designed for gladiators only, since those players are nearly 1% according to same source.

Solo queue is the way to entertain everyone and to give them a chance to participate in arenas.

I don’t care. Add soloq. This game is done anyway. But thinking that soloq would be a great addition to the game is ridiculous and just moronic. It would ruin arenas completely for many reasons.

Not sure if solo q will solve anything on that part. So many different comps you get thrown in, the learning-curve in that way will be huge.

Only, and really only, if they make a very well put together queue- and matchmaking system. They have not really shown yet that they are capable of fixing such a thing, why take for granted that it will magically work perfectly in Solo Queue?

There was a private server called arena tournament and it featured a solo queue 3v3. It was a horrible experience. This a you think you do but you don’t kind of a thing.

You don’t have to use the solo queue and solo queue matches would be separate.

Quite easy to say, we have no clue what kind of impact adding a new (easy to use) bracket will have on the current ones. It may as well cause the queue times to increase significantly and potentially to endless levels for some ratings.

2 days ago i played 2s for an hour and a half at 1,9k-2k mmr
15 teams we faced in total
11 teams had a gladiator, multigladiator or an elite player, we also met a bfa rank1 rogue boosting some priest

I assume that only people, who are against soloque - are boosters milking 2s daily, making loads of gold from it and blocking other players from climbing.
