How TBC Will Be Matters

It could be the case. A faction queue would solve so much though.

To be honest I wouldn’t be surprised if Blizzard is still trying to figure out why people are still playing the 15 year old version of WoW they reluctantly released when people didn’t stop whining and the sub count was dropping, when they could be playing BFA (is shadowlands out yet?) instead. They’re just out of touch.

Hostility vs Blizzard, hostility vs other players that they don’t go other faction, demand for more pve realms, flooding faction queue with spy/dumny accounts and more. With modern meta gaming and no faction balancing there will be very little reasons to play Alliance.

And how fun would it be to be locked out of raid night because less players of the opposing faction logged in recently?

And for context the most controversial Shadowlands feature is locking a toon to one covenant that has unique player power - and players want the optimal player power based on content or spec they are doing. People are already betting if 9.1 will bring swappable covenants.

You know that is probably what they have in store and will try to make: Let’s rip them off even further and make them do al of tbc , all of wotlk AGAIN etc …

this is what i am afraid of getting milked again from blizzard and noticing that classic wow aint playable anymore after 1-3 years and same happens to TBC and others… i would be damn pissed if they would turn off the classic/Tbc/Wotlk servers making them unable to play and my characters forced in to the rollercoaster of the expansions tho it would be short fly as last time as i cant stand to play games like that what are under a maelstorm of changes all the time … i am a player that wants stability from the game i am playing.

Tbh if you noticed the one year greet from a blizzard staff it said: “We hope we get to celebrate this day with you for many more years!”, There are the word: “We hope”… if in blizzard they would have choose to keep the realms up for years and years to come they would have said something like: “And many more years to come!”… Who knows… The upcoming blizzcon will be huge if they relase their plans for classic and tbc

Pal they will suffer the backlash of their shadowlol and they will try to milk it as soon as they can somewhere after naxx i am afraid.

Me too f*** that , Idon’t want classic content, items stats, etc… to become obsolete and i don’t want to make it all over again yet they never understand anything.

YesI did notice, I also did made the remark no classic one year birthday message then some time after that a blue/CM took it on he/her to create a thread while they monitor us , from those words it looks that way: we’re gonna milk you again over and after naxx you’ll get a nightmarish tbc and we wil see how much we rack from it .

whatever it takes, there better be 2 server types for tbc:
fresh start and copy from copy chatacter classic
classic should always remain on some servers as well

I want to play TBC on Classic. But I don’t want to start from a fresh level 1 again.

If all servers get forced to go TBC like in Vanilla, then great.
(I believe this will be what happens, they won’t run two versions of Classic, they can barely GM this one)

If we get to copy characters to new TBC servers, then great.
(But I highly doubt this will happen - again, too much work for Blizz)

If we get new servers for TBC and have to start from fresh Level 1’s - then it’s time to quit.
(Again… I highly doubt this will happen.)

Don’t think they will keep supporting classic when they release tbc.
The amount of service in classic is to damn low. Dont see them splitting it again.

But for the love of god: just being tbc and wotlk like they did back then. Funwise the best games i ever played.

You forgot:

If current servers progress to TBC and new Classic servers open up for transfer, for those who want to stay in Classic.
If current servers stay Classic, and new TBC servers open up for transfer, for those who want to move to TBC.
(You know, the options we were actually proposed in the survey)

I’ve never quite understood this logic - what stops them from offering CS both for Vanilla and TBC? It’s not like their combined numbers will be significantly different from current Classic numbers. Heck, do you even think the ppl currently working on Classic support don’t also work as Support in other Blizzard games? Really?

As long as there’s ppl wanting to play Vanilla, they’ll keep a few Vanilla servers open - it’s literally free money for them. Heck, they keep Diablo 2 servers open, still. And that’s not even a sub game.

I seems their biggest error was forcing everyone into new, imagine if they’d left original servers available per expansion?

Never tough of it that way but that would have been brilliant, hopefully some game designers learns from this and this will be a thing in a future. a respect towards the past

I didnt say they wont keep a few servers running, i just think they wont support it. In other Words: put servers up and running and that’s it.

i cba if they will allow you to import your classic Chars,

I just hope there will be at leaast one server that force you to start from fresh for many reasons, one being that we may start with a sort of logical economy before it get flooded with thousand of gold farmed on classic or on another matter … so that all player on said server start on the same point.

tis a matter of taste in the end

only blizz will decide if they want to bake a cake for everyone’s favorite flavor

IMHO something would have to be done with botting as well. TBC will be hard on mote farming and stuff like that and if it’s get botted then Classic gold won’t even matter in destroying the game

And you go to reddit and see people posting bot hunters farming AQ40 mob or flyhacking to open coffers. Rogue bots in BRM pick pocket farming and so on… Or people stand next to Mara entrance and watch instance locked bots mindlessly moving back and forth

TBC should be launched asap!
