Thank you so much for creating this thread, Haiete!

I have added it to my bookmarks and will link it if folks have questions about Trust Levels.

I legitimately thought it was a troll question but turns out it wasnā€™t. Now Iā€™m surprisedā€¦

Thank you! I hope you donā€™t mind using you as an example, you were the first MVP I could find.

EDIT

Youā€™ve actually helped me, since you have your profile hidden, we can no longer see what trust level you have, so thatā€™s interesting to know as well!

Hah, no worries! I think itā€™s interesting data to look at too

I am not sure why my profile is hidden, but it seems to be just MVPs. I canā€™t seem to view the profile of other MVPs, but I can view yours and other users.

Edit: Interestingly, the JSON shows the information of the devices I logged in from. I just tried using the site with my phone, and it revealed an IPv6 address. I didnā€™t even know my provider was using IPv6!

I didnā€™t hide mine either yet it does appear to be. How odd.

Some MVPā€™s have their profile hidden, others donā€™t. Even some people who havenā€™t been online (such as https://eu.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/u/Anapanda-kul-tiras) give the same message. ā€œ[en_GB.user.profile_hidden]ā€ (which is probably a placeholder for a real text).

It can be easily reversed though in your account settings.

I think I found the option here:

Is my profile visible now?

Yes, it is!

Itā€™s not.

Actually your activity is visible, but armor is not.

Yeah i had already found the setting, but I certainly did not switch it on. It may be that Blizzard prefer us to have it that way, I will send a carrier pigeon and ask just in case.

Aerythlea has it disabled as well, so maybe they just automatically turned it on for some valuable accounts.

Iā€™ll keep mine on for now. If we need to turn it off, would you let me know on Twitter?

Will do. (add extra text to make over 20 chars)

I have just finished creating a tool that allows you to check the trust level of all your characters. It can be found here:

https://trustlevelchecker.jodk.nl/
The site will ask for the region youā€™re in, and then redirect you to blizzard for authorization to view your WoW profile. When granted, it will display a list of all your characters and their trust levels.

edit: Iā€™ve by now also included a way to check just one character without requiring login of any kind.

Only way I can post it, but does that - correctly formatted - mean Iā€™m still L0ā€¦?

Hi Eighjan,

iā€™d recommend you use the trust level checker iā€™ve just released. Takes the technical stuff out of your hands.
