How to get into the keys?

Think they’d even take a lowly scrub like me? I cant even get the weekly m0’s done as my friends say oooh we’ll do a group and then they never appear online.

Dungeon Dojo is set up to help and teach in an all inclusive community. Scared of Dungeons has a good reputation for a rage free, friendly key running environment.

It’s entirely possible to pug your way through M+, but that’s not what OP did. They lied to pugs by buying boosts and then lied here on the forum claiming it was “with friends” while we can see his raid logs where he did 0 (ZERO) damage on most fights along with 3 other buyers who jumped off at the start on sarkareth.
You can even see on the replay they tried to mask it as being pushed off but were too slow to make it look real. It’s hilarious.

So no need to try and spin this thread into “evil M+ community” and “bad third party sites”.

Pugging can be a pretty miserable experience at times though, there is no denying that.

I’m not spinning anything, I don’t even try to do M+ anymore, keep your insecurities to yourself I only shared my previous experiences.

Because you got boosted, lol.

I pretty much invite the first applicant of a role if their ilvl isn’t ridiculously low in keys below 14 when playing low alts, lol.

I’m starting to gear up my 4th character this patch so I can run M+ with you. Also what Puny said, there are a lot of communities out there that are noob friendly.

This is very important.

I do feel a bit bad for the OP because he overgears 17s, but at the same time, with no actual experience of the fights, he is going to suck on his first runs through. How characters play in a raid and how they play in dungeons are often very different and people who are good at one are not automatically good at the other.

If we sign up to someone else’s key, you are putting all the risk for failure onto them - because it is them that ends up with a depleted key rather than ourselves. In return, our part of the deal is to have a proven track record of not failing. That’s impossible if we’ve never done the dungeon ever.

So OP, focus those dungeons that you’ve never done, apply to 6s or 8s, where mechanical failures aren’t lethal and your gear will carry you. Step up 2-3 key levels at a time, and once you have some 16s under your belt, invites for 17s are much more likely to happen.

Also, sort out a Raider IO account and link the characters! If you have a main with decent experience on which you are confident, then make sure other players can see it.

I will happily invite characters with low dungeon score if I can see that the player’s progress on another character is appropriate to the dungeon. RIO is not just for the elitist few, it is for people who want to be identifiable as decent players and aren’t ashamed of where they’re at :smile_cat:

Some twitch streamers are also on the table.

Ah, so you mean the score resets and it’s a clean slate ?

Thank you everyone , you have been very helpful !

New players should not not sign up for +17 keys of dungeons they have never done. Lower keys you get very easy in.

Yeah my bad I missed that part.

We take everyone in low keys in communities. I used, as a new tank and new dps, the No Pressure discord community. I started on +2 and got up to over +15’s.

What is the name of the community ?

No pressure

No, your abilities are judged by people using data off a 3rd party website. In this case its a textbook example of it working. Whats the problem exactly?

Its not for boosting and its a nice friendly place to be

First off your neck is crafted and only 424 with just 1 socket why not 3? For the i dont know. Ure char looks like its boosted nothing else tbh. Also people need to get off the mindset of he is boosted and cannot play his class. Many people pay for boosts for several reasons. Its not that this game is new player friendly or the community is just…

That is exactly what you need to do.

Probably start at 10-12 and start clearing those keys. Then 15/16’s

Also a good idea to push your own key up from those numbers as well, as that will help you get the 17’s you need.
