Im not falling into this trap with you of all people, lets just drop it yeah?
They just want teleports and mog animation. I remember this rogue in my pug group who had only NL completed in +20, while other dungeons were like +4. Got teleport to the most far dungeon
Itâs not rly about knowing your class in this case. I mean his parces are decent in the dungeons he did. I wouldnât take him because of his lack of XP in the dungeons. Also when he/she sings up all people will see is that they did 6 dungeons in total and at a +20, this screams âbought a boostâ to everyone.
The best way to avoid falling into the trap is to not say stupid things, that way you donât get called out on said stupid thing.
But sure.
You have a very interesting beard.
Donât say you like it, Blizz will probably put it in the cash shop or something.
It has âskiing in the 80âs scarfâ vibes for me. Deja ready for the winter.
Course they will- heck, even Iâm in both those communities that Puny mentioned
It is more of a âgeneralâ reset, including gear, âtacticsâ, and score.
We will have new dungeons, our current ilvl will be at lfr benchmark, and most people will not know the dungeons beforehand.
This will mean that the score will be indicative of the experience in the dungeons the last few days, the time you spend gearing will matter, and the more you study/play the dungeons the faster you will learn them.
Generally speaking, I suggest you do not try to burn out right now, but instead try to âprepareâ for the new season in 1 month. You will have way more fun then I believe.
This sounds cool , I have had quite a bit of runs today and gotta say tho, itâs much more intense than I thought.
How do I prepare by the way?
Someone mentioned my gear is bad, and the neck now is 437 but also with one socket , is there a way to get more than 1 ???
all these edgy replies lmao
if you donât get an invite to 17 make sure youâve already done a +15 at least in a few dungeons. if you donât get invite to 15 go for 13 etc. etc. some weirdos expect you to do a +18 before letting you into their +17 group but the rest will probably invite you IF there are not better dps playerss in the queue which usually is the real issue. even if you have the perfect score it take time to get an invite as a dps player in this awful system.
Just run your own keys until a certain level, then youâll get invites.
Yes, there is an item from the AH, tiered medallion setting, that you can buy the rank 2 to add a second socket, and the tier 3 to add a 3rd socket (the 2 star and 3 star versions). Careful to first use the 2 star version on your neck, THEN use the 3 star version.
There are many ways that you can prepare for the new season.
-
Watch videos of the new dungeons for the tactics. Many creators will make like 10-20-30 minutes guide for a new dungeon. It might seem boring but you will understand them way faster when you play them and learn the points you must respect (one shot mechanics/defensives/burn phases/interupts/dispels/etc).
-
Brush up on your spec changes.
-
Have enough gear to jump into the low dungeons (you already have that, so not THAT important).
-
See if any of your friends/guildies make plans to form a group. If you find a stable group it will be WAY better/more fun to play at the start. Extra points if you learnt the tactics, cause communicating and explaining to other guys will go way faster.
-
Generally play the game. The start of the season is the time that you will gain like 2-5-7 ilvls in a single day, will update your rio every day cause you will be pushing, and will see yourself improving each day with the new dungeons.
But most important of all, keep a chill attitude. Most people will be returning players, even +3 dungeons might drop upgrades, and few people will actually know the tactics. This make it a way less toxic place, and ideal on making connections/groups.
Buy 2x"Tiered Medallion Setting" from the AH. You can either buy 1 rank 2 and 1 rank 3 or 2x rank 3. You will have 3 socket slots on your neck.
Itâs not bad per say, itâs just low for the end of the season. Most people in that range are looking for 445.
I would say, run dungeons now and try learn all the affixes, they change weekly so 1-3 runs weekly should be enough, I think we still have time for a full rotation of affixes by the time the new season starts. Also go run Dawn of the infinites and learn those fights because it will be in the M+ rotation next season. The rest of the dungeons are:
-
Darkheart Thicket (Legion)
-
Black Rook Hold (Legion)
-
Waycrest Manor (Battle for Azeroth)
-
AtalâDazar (Battle for Azeroth)
-
Everbloom (Warlords of Draenor)
-
Throne of the Tides (Cataclysm) - this one you canât really prepare for as it will be redesigned (unless there are videos of it from the PTR).
Thanks again guys c:
Youâll have to let us know how you get on
My hit list atm for pugs when I donât know what kind of monkey is sitting at the keyboard.
BM hunter
Augvoker
Everything else is a risk as I donât know how well they play. With your experience and ilvl I would ha e probably picked you with the right class
Its been so amazing so far, I got that community recommended and there are so many helpful and not pushy people. Its so great. Love playing again.
Iâm starting to avoid augvokers, most of the ones iâve taken to runs have been garbage. And I really donât get how people are bad with spec.
I think some (a lot of?) people just play it because itâs easy to get into keys. They get high score by just pressing random abilities so they never learn to do better.
