Alright so here’s what you do.
First, you hold them at gunpoint.
Now, keep the gun trained at them while shoving them onto the train to Ironforge.
Once you arrive, have some guards stationed at both the train and the gates of Ironforge so no non-dwarf (or worse, healers) can leave.
It’s simple. We give them free hats!
First ram-race of the night has been made a reality! Sadly wasn’t the winner, but was still fun! I hope more will follow and more life will come to Ironforge!

Ram-races, tavern shenanigans and a surprisingly amount of humans on horses that nearly trampled the regiment Captain.
Ironforge, 'Tis a silly place.
I do hope IF becomes more active though.

Sadly, there’s a “what’s the point of role-playing if everyone cant see me?” trend that’s always been around in MMO based RP.
To be fair, Ironforge is better off as a quieter RP spot rather than being filled with Void Elves all standing in a line emoting but never speaking…(You know who you are)
I think there’s a few legitimate reasons for peoples character to be in Ironforge right now. One that stands out in particular is that Stormwind is probably a bit overcrowded and the price of accomodation might have inflated. Because yes, that would totally happen, even in this semi-Medieval high fantasy world. Landlords don’t give a crap if people are effectively homeless, it’s time to fill their pockets!

Don’t worry we’ll ban the Void Elves with some IC reason. Since a lot of Dwarves see most magics as tricks (Especially Dark Magics) We could ban them from Ironforge or any other edgy class or race.

Same way I get any of my friends to spend time with me.
Pay them

Well that’s one way to shoot your initiative down: Acting like the dumber version of Stormwind Guards and enforcing headcanon as law.

Just link this video to Everyone.
Superb Dwarven Video
If that doesn’t get them weak (and stunted) at the knee’s for Ironforge, I don’t know what will.

i have a brilliant idea to get rid of those nasty elves from ironforge! ask the rulers of iron forge to have all door posts be halved in height! those elves will leave as they’re to tall to enter buildings.

I don’t think The Three Hammers have an authority enough to ban certain RP or races entirely in Ironforge. And even if they did, I’m never a fan of telling people they are simply banned from X place because they are an X race.
All memes and band wagoning aside, some Void Elves can be quite decent to RP with, and those Stormwind weird bois will stay in their containment zone regardless of what happens.

I think, at least currently, it is event and guild based, and not much of the latter around currently. While I use random RP as my main source for RP, while I go about my Ic business, I would suggest trying to host some kind of event in IF here on the forums or on AA, maybe a tavern crawl or something like that?
Hey guys. Here’s a PDF I wrote for the Lakeshire Community. If you replace “Lakeshire” with “Ironforge”, what you essentially have here is a help-sheet on how to attract role-players to your hub.

(Remove the “—” hyphens.)
I hope it helps! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. I’d love to help your initiative as much as I can!

The Brew of the Month Club would attract a lot of RPers if it were to become a monthly (or even weekly!) social event. You could have different kinds of brews and ales to be ranked by attendees (maybe to be known as members of the Brew Club) for a monthly vote for the “brew of the month”. Also a reason for characters (mostly dwarves I bet) to RP getting sh!tfaced drunk.
A lot of great answers! Thanks! Have to admit I’m a bit ashamed I didn’t think of the Brew of the Month thing, it is a very dwarven idea. Could even be that the attendees themselves can list their own brews and compete for a prize!
Rest assured The Three Hammers has some ideas in the making that we hope will bring a little bit more life to the mountain city. Hopefully we can also be persistent enough and not get lazy along the way. Cheers! Fer Khaz Modan!
