How to make more gold?

Hey everyone,

I’m sitting at about 10 million gold, and I’ve got a crafting setup that keeps the gold coming in steadily—but wow, it’s slow. Meanwhile, I see people zooming by with hundreds of millions of gold, buying all the mounts and cool stuff they want like it’s nothing.

Clearly, I’m missing something here! What’s the trick to breaking into that 100M+ range? It feels like the average player is rolling in way more gold than I am, and I could really use some tips to get on that level.

Any advice to help me somewhat keep up would be awesome!

Wish you a nice start of the week!

Buying & selling wow tokens!

But on a serious note, I’ve not actually looked into this. It’s something I may do at some point, once I’m in the mood to farm some gold!

No, they really aren’t. I’d be surprised if the majority of people have more than 10k gold.

You need to adjust your basis of assumption. You’re the guy worrying that you can only afford 2 supercars thinking you’re behind - meantime most people are struggling to put food on the table.

Dejarous, why are you always so negative in the vast majority of threads that post in?

You instantly go off saying “NO YOU ARE WRONG!” and you think the majority of the playerbase is around 10k gold… I really do feel sorry for you to have such a negative outlook on everything that people want to talk about.

A player can make 10,000gold in The War Within in an hour or less, if they just did a tiny bit of farming.

I can understand you may not enjoy the game any more, and it clearly does show in the way you post on these forums.

I picture you as someone who stands by the window of their home (with no garden), ready to yell at kids to stay off the grass!.

I don’t think it’s possible to only own 10k gold, so he/she might be trolling.

Negative or not they’re almost always correct in what they say. Often funny, too. Unless you do world content, which many don’t, professions, which even less do since the revamp, having below 10k is actually very normal and common, even now.

Also, if you talk about farming, remember that people come here on the forums to complain rather than fix their issues. That’s just a tiny fracture of the playerbase that even use the forums to begin with. Many others just do nothing, even if something bothers them.

When i look at my guild people seem to have a couple of hundreds of thousands gold. Definitely less than half a million.

I’m subscribed to a Youtuber who opens BMH containers in the hopes of getting a Swift Zulian Tiger. He has opened 450+ boxes averaging around 300k gold.
He boots in PvP and he’s an AH Goblin. Basically he farms rare items that sell for 10k’s, 100k’s, and posts hundreds of auctions(if not thousands).
He said something I wont forget. If an item(transmog for example) sells once every 100 days, you must post 100 of them. That way it is more likely to sell every day. (100 different items, this is important)

I stand by what I said.

Should we discuss your posting habits and why you feel compelled to make 20 threads a day that amount to little more than “hey, a thought entered my head”?

Back on topic You seem to think that your experience is mirrored by everybody. “IF YOU JUST DO A BIT OF FARMING”. Most don’t.

Wtf do you want more money?
Donald Von duck?
Who says those running around with 100m gold didnt just buy it with tokens for real money?

See it this way

If u make 300k an hour thats a token and equilivent to 13 euro or whatever.

A real job pays what for you?

Some people use tons of time ingame like spending 10 hours making 250k

So you are actually deflating your own time/money

You could have worked 1hour irl and probarly got more depending where you are from

Keep all this in mind and ask yourself why you play WoW

No it isn’t just a “tiny” bit of farming, that is unless you are able to find 1000 herbs in an hour. Otherwise you need top end profession gear, and have spent weeks gaining the points in the profession trees. So basically turn WoW into a job.

People very quickly forget that we pay for this for entertainment.

You can if you want too, I stand by what I said!

Or you could PvP for 40 minutes and sell a Vicious Bloodstone. Instant 10k.

Here is a thread from a while back, plenty of people with very little money. Some “rich” but many who have never climbed above 500k which is 20 times less than what the OP thinks is the low end.

So theres nothing negative in saying the OP is out by orders of magnitude - or is it “toxic” to call out bs in this post truth era we live in?

118 replies with 4 people saying they have under 20,000g.

Still trying to find your point!

Again, I STAND BY MY POINT, that you’re mostly always negative in the majority of threads that you post in. I’m not the only individual on this forum who sees this, and I’ve seen others also point it out.

But I can also tell you’re an individual who will never see the opinions the others provide and always will say you’re right and everyone else is wrong.

I have 20k. So yes, it is possible. I play WoW for combat, not to click on nodes or monitor the AH.

The point is you’re fixating on the 10k. Scratch that it was wrong - replace it with 50k or 100k. The OP is still out by orders of magnitude if he thinks the average wealth is 10m

Also, think a forum of wow afficiando’s will be higher or lower than the general population? Or do you think the forum population is representative?

They never said the average wealth is 10million.

They said, that they’re sitting on 10million gold and that they see people with alot more and are asking on how to make more.

You instantly went into the conversation with “most people only have 10,000g”. You never provided anything to the thread apart from a negative reply.

True, I missed out that last part of his sentence.

The difference between me and you, is I can say when I made a mistake

Anyway enough attention for you today, back to playing a bit.
