As title says I want to start preparing for how to obtain the legendaries I am going to want to farm in Shadowlands but I can’t find any guides on obtaining them. I am interested in finding more details on mistweaver monk legendaries and what I need to do to obtain them? Anyone got any links. Specifically tear of morning and ancient teachings of the monastery
You will have to farm different materials in order to craft them. Everything was handed for free in beta but I assume it will take some time before you can craft one. You will have enough time to decide which one you craft and to see guides about them. Now is a but too early I think.
Has there been any details released about what mats we need? Or is it all new mats that haven’t been released. Want to get everything I can get now out of the way.
I don’t remember any of it (the names) but indeed it was Shadowlands mats. There is no way to advance on crafting the best gear for an expansion before it is release I’m afraid.
You need a couple of things for a legendary:
- You need to unlock the Runecarver first, which is basically following the storyline until you get there.
- You need a Memory for the Runecarver, which will give the power of your legendary. For monk, this Wowhead link shows the available powers and their drop locations:

Both the recipe for the item, and the materials, are new materials coming in Shadowlands, you can’t stock up on them in advance.
- Two missives, which give secondary stats, crafted by Scribes.
- Enough Soul Ash, which you get from running Torghast.
