So maybe i have been shadowbanned from world chat or something but i don’t have a guild, and can’t find groups for dungeons, and at 56 and a half im rapidly running out of doable quest solo.
Any realistic way to reach 60 that isnt mindless grinding?
Well if you’re not yet 60 and they have multiple 60’s that wanna go, they’ll take them over you.
People that are 60 are in BRD a lot, there’s plenty good gear in there including HoJ, Ironfoe, Glad Chest etc etc.
I guess thats the problem, i’m behind the curve, cant find a guild because im behind the curve, dont have a guild to help me out getting up to speed, catch 22
I’unno what you do, looks to me like you’re in a guild tho.
Anyway you could certainly buy boosts if you want but I wouldn’t recommend it.
In Classic, for a solo player, there’s very little ‘end-game’ anyway, what’re you gonna do once you’ve grinded dungeons at 60 for a bit of gear?
I was in a guild, some random invited me, turned out to be another Cataclysm style cesspool leveling guild that died 1 week after, guess armory didnt update.
I just want to get to endgame, farm mats, do some world pvp, maybe PUG a raid or two.
Then your first step is hitting 60 which you should be able to do solo.
But don’t expect people to bring you to groups especially in BRD cus soooo many Melee’s want that trinket they’ll usually not invite too many others who can use it for obvious reasons.
You dont need guild for any of that.
Im in a raid guild, but dont raid with them due to availabilty, so I pug, even dungeons.
But to me, it seems you dont want to make your own groups, which is a problem. All you have to do is “LFM x dungeon”, it is not really hard. As a rogue, you wont get many invites, since they arent very demanding class by others and you roll on same loot as druids, hunters and warriors.
Speedrunners get to 60 solo without rested xp and ignoring anything that requires a group. Joana spent the last 1.5 levels grinding moonkin, but he ignored plenty of quests, it was just the most efficient he could find.
As far as group content goes, just make your own groups. I hardly find a group for my tank or healer, but as soon as I post LFM, there are guaranteed responses.
Note that at 56, even a 46 is green. You can start with the 48-55 zones, one after the other. Once happy, proceed to the 54-60 zones, there are 4 of them. Even with 1.5 levels per zone, you’re 60.
Many players focus a single zone, forcing themselves through quests 5+ levels above them (while asking for a group, erm, a boost). In the process, they devalue (outlevel) other relevant zones a little more, in terms of xp and gear. I do multi-zoning and I’m very far from running out of quests.
Parking your character for a week grants you a full level of rested (21 bars), so leveling an alt could cut your path to 60 significantly shorter. Or play one hour a day. You’ll get there.
Be persistent and find a guild. Thing is, no one wants to group with 51-59 rogues. I had the same thing when leveling mine. It’s usually melee who organizes BRD groups and they want casters since they’re usually after HoJ. Also rogues can’t AoE, don’t bring any buffs and are just generally considered useless around that level range.
If I were you, I’d level in AV. Need to grind that to exalted anyway, there are lots of quests there and each win gives around 4k exp (3300+ odd exp from mobs).
Classic is NOT a game for solo players unless you are willing to solo grind BIGLY.
Since most stuff is … well dungeon and raid gear etc…
join a chill non tryhard guild, maybe even a social one, here and there they will do dungeons and you will go with em sometimes.
Also the LookingForGroup channel is better than world. And keep in mind what hours you search for dungeons because if you try at 5am gud luck finding a group etc
As others have said, make your own BRD groups or lvl in AV, but most importantly get to 60. Rogues don’t get invited very often since there are too many of them and rogues who make groups will keep out other rogues so they can get their garbage pre-raid bis trash gear, even if it means spending like 30min+ extra in world chat LFMing more dps (which is about the same time as a Rend run).
WoW classic is NOT solo friendly game. You will not be able to do anything at endgame except farming herbs/ores. You can’t even do world pvp because you will get absolutely trashed by people with epics (which will also keep you from farming).
So get to 60, get some pre-raid bis and try to tag along some pugs or find a raiding guild.
Check the guild advertisements on your realm forum & discord. There isn’t really any endgame for solo players; it’s dungeons & raids, aka group content, and they’re a far better experience with a good guild than pugs.
And if you’re running out of quests at 56, you’ve missed a lot.
