So I was thinking. The feeling of being proud as Horde player has been extinguished in bfa mostly. So If Blizzard’s giving US a treat to restore the Horde to a state where it was actually sucessful.
So here are just some of my takes to make that premise possible.
Talking to the bronze Dragonflight to have the opportunity to travel to Draenor again and having the chance to kick out Yrel and her light fanatic colonizers. This is a big topic for me because i was let down by the entire Mag’har introduction. It would be a nice touch having a story where we have to aid the native Orcs in getting back their land.
Kick the alliance out of all Horde and bordering territories. Starts with central Kalimdor and ends with the lose places of Lordaeron. It belongs to the forsaken and Blizzard needs to stop giving in to human potential fanatics who basically can’t stop being in Deus Vult mode all of the time. It was bad enough when they tried to force Calia on use whose first act of governing was to withdraw our forces from Gilneas. The Horde deserves better then this and someone needs to make a first move.
New allied races. Let us be blunt. All we got in Bfa was trash. Nightborne and Highmountain didn’t show up in any battle and the Mag’har and Vulpera are homeless hobos. What the Horde really needs is some serious races who bring good standing forces and have a capital city that can act as RP hub. Gordunni Ogres and Amani trolls come to mind here. Diremaul and Zul’Aman have never been taken. Horde could finally build a bridge to its previously lost allies. I hope Blizzard has not forgotten that.
And in for the last points before the trolls come in. Bring our leaders back to life. All of them. It is a screaming injustice that the Horde lost 20 leaders in Bfa alone while the entire cast of the alliance remained unharmed. The Horde council strength in a direct battle is laughable at best and a burden at worst. In comparison to previous times someone like Grommash could have blasted Turalyon to pieces. But someone like Thrall got his butt handled to him before he started cheating by using his shaman magic.

The Horde is succesful RIGHT NOW. It got rid of its bad leaders, made peace and allied with Azeroth’s leading military faction, made good steps to leave behind their murderous past, and is generally on a good way to prosperity.
I’d call that a success and this direction makes me proud of the Horde.

I don’t see how killing poor alliance people was something to be proud of. We’re better off if the horde is disbanded to be honest.

They should bring back the faction war in general, but sadly WoW has been ruined by real life politics and agendas, no violence and conflict allowed anymore, its flowers and kisses from here on out.

They go away from the faction war because they have no idea how to write it. With each new conflict it just becomes more forced. By all logic about 80% of the Horde factions should have been against the 4th war, and should have started a Darkspear rebellion 2.0 after the burning of Teldrassil. Instead we are expected to believe everyone just goes along with Sylvanas’s political suicide as she forces them into a war they have no reason to wage.

This^^ Also I often wonder: How could the tauren just ignore such an unnatural act of violence against the world itself a.k.a. the “earth mother”? They should have been the first who rebelled right away against this cruel act…

No one feels proud for playing any faction.
Restore the Horde? That ship has sailed, rammed the glacier, exploded, and then got eaten by Shen-zin Su. Last chance the “writers” had to restore the Horde was Saurfang, but they wanted to stick it to the patriarchy, so… yeah.

Not true, i am very proud to fight for the alliance, always have been.
I would rather fight for the Alliance, but to be proud about it? No. Just the orc internment camps after the Second war would be enough… and there is more where that came from.

They were invading aliens with necromancy and demons on their side… (Yes, WC1 have both of those, sekeltons and demons) … then commited even worse attrocities during their second attempt!
Not to mention they slaughtered their way through the Eastern Kingdoms
One Great War? Okay… But two ?
And after those two wars the cripled kingdoms not really had the resources to feed those aliens.
Terenas Menethil II of Lordaeron believed the orcs would one day lose their lust for conquest, Thoras Trollbane of Stromgarde and Genn Greymane of Gilneas demanded their executions. They effectively settled on a sentence of life imprisonment, although disagreement and anger over the issue remained entrenched as nations left the Alliance in various frustrations.
No wonder the Alliance fall apart…
They never really planned to rehabilitate the Orcs and give them land to live free and form a nation… just imprisonment (and let put aside the fact, there were lady orcs in the army and it was inevitable lil’ orcs will born… imprison them too? Keep them prisoners?) until they die
It was the worse decision since Queen Azshara thought, maybe only Sargeras, the Dark Titan is the only worthy mate and equal to her…
