Not particularly excited but I’ll most likely have a great time. The warbands are great QoL and I’m going completely blind so exploring will most likely be enjoyable as usual. Though I’m dreading leveling anything past the first character.
Im.so looking forward to that as a fury warrior!!
Nowadays I’m mostly a hypeless creature, and not just with WoW, but with any videogame. Which is good I think.
I will have good fun, as always, without twisting my nipples in anticipation.
Not even lukewarm.
I haven’t checked a thing about the expansion. All I know I’ve got from various posts here.
I will try it mostly because all my friends are but I’m not impressed at all by blizz latest track record with retail so I’m not expecting to be pleasantly surprised.
pz b42 though. Mhm! The hype is real!
I’m carefully optimistic we’ll get further surprises to keep things interesting.
All that needs to be done is free the game from past constraints, and that is the path upon which we are currently treading.
Honestly i find it harder and harder to get hyped about expansion releases, and it not because of the game, its just that after so many expansions, i kinda know the drill, New content is always fun and refreshing, but the core expansion cycle is always the same. Thats not nessecarily a bad thing, but its hard to get hyped about.
Im actually more hyped about expansion reveals than expansion releases.
I never get hyped before a prepatch only in so much I trouble myself with stuff they may change that ruins my normal game. As for the expansion, haven’t bought it as yet. Haven’t any plans at the moment. Thats over a month away, probably something to think about in the winter. So no hype here as yet.
That’s actually a good point. The material we’re all getting is very concrete.
It’s all percentages and numbers and systems and updates, but there’s very little in the way of lore dumps or anything else.
I must assume it is coming soon.
But either way, whether we’re hyped or not, the pre-expansion is upon us on Wednesday. And thus ends the final weekend of Dragonflight.
Well, they’re getting rid of the God awful kyrian ability from arcane mages, among other things.
I might actually try playing mage again once prepatch comes.
I’ve never been too interested in arcane because of its long-standing and well deserved reputation for being harder than quantum mechanics and geometric calculus combined.
So I didn’t even really look at it. I assume this is just what arcane mages want, the sadists.
If that has changed, I might give it a whirl.
One small thing that reduces the hype for me is that I can no longer just be a frost mage. Or get ten points to spend in furthering my knowledge in whichever magic I choose. “Merging” with another spec is rubbing my RPG feels the wrong way.
I think each spec should have gotten sub-specs instead and because they would have required more time, they should have been released bit by bit or class by class.
Medium hyped.
I was super hyped when the trilogy of expacks was announced and with delves too. But honestly I found 10.1 and 10.2 to be so disappointing that I quickly dropped my original plan to buy the full edition for early acces and unsubbed for 5 months instead. I’ll just get the base edition as usual.
Which shoulda never have taken away in the first place
The excitement is still here. I’m playing gw2 while waiting for WoW’s new content.
I am trying my hardest to be hyped… But idk. I am afraid its just gonna be 10 new levels and and m+ and thats it. But I don’t know yet what else is there besides delves.
No new features this time. No Artifact weapon… legion invasion… mage tower… Warfronts azerithe powers… No thorghast or legendaries no nothing else…
It looks like 10 new levels and a new season. So the new expansion just feels like a new m+ season so far. Rather than an expansion
Oh yeah hero talents. Guess i am hyped for that… Warbands too. It will be great for transmog hunting. What I am trying to say! Is I am hyped for the quality of life improvements the most.
Medium I think, I mean Im really hyped for the lore, Im happy to see Anduin back and just hope Xal’atath to be a rightful chaotic villain xD
Warbands are kinda cool, but is something that we should have got ages ago.
But something Im sure is that art and music department never dissapoints haha so im exited for that <3
I also had no big expectations for DF and it turned to be one of my most played and loved expansions, so all that can be done is to wait and try it out for yourself.
I’m hyped for warband and my alts
Pre-patch feels a bit lackluster but am excited for expansion.
No hype honestly. I just like how it rolls but overall I have no feeling of nyeeeeeah brutha lessgooooo or something.
I play mainly 2 classes, Monk and Hunter. As a Monk playing mostly WW in open world, I’m not happy with removal of Serenity – it was best burst button in the game with awesome tempo shift, and I just can’t see myself playing Monk without it. Removal of Expel Harm from WW doesn’t help too. As a Hunter, I’m not really happy either because latest rework butchered 1-pet BM builds (imagine playing BM without Multi-Shot and Beast Cleave) and Hero Talents doesn’t really help so far.
So overall hype is killed, but let’s see how it feels in 2 days, yeah.
I agree, but being honest, warbands is being enough to make me hyped for pre-patch, I just wanted for this for far too long…
