That is true. I have seen recently many people posting the same issue and still no Blizzard’s response on that.
Btw I tried sumbitting a technical issues ticket, and got a “can’t submit a ticket” error. So I tried submitting a ticket about not being able to submit a ticket in a different category and got “something went wrong on our end”.
Does anyone still work in their CS?
When I read your issue, it’s as if I’d describe mine.
Could people
stop with the /flushdns command thingie? It’s as if that is the magic trick, lol. If you reinstalled entire windows, shutdown your network modem, etc… The flushdns already happened, this command just forces it manually.
I think that you can try and contact people at blizzard directly by submitting ticket.
I didn’t try reinstalling windows, and for damn sure I won’t be doing that, but I did all the other things you did + I tried to have a chat with chatGPT For the sake of tips/tricks in fine tuning some network card settings/ registry edit and whatnot. Nothing has helped my case. I also can say that sometimes game just works fine, but most of the time it doesn’t. It happens only in group content. Both in Wrath and Retail/ M+ and Raid. Discord works and I can hear people talk for example, but game just have 2k ping and says nope. Im also on the verge of giving up playing
I’ve been only stressed out recently, because whenever I wanna do something that I consider fun, I get the opposite /ruin keys/waste people time in failed m+ run, etc.
Exactly. I don’t want to ruin others’ keys, so I’ve just stopped logging on these last few days - there’s no point in playing if I can’t actually play.
I can’t submit a ticket though, I keep getting the “can’t submit” error:

And trying to submit it in a different way ends up with much the same:

Just for giggles I tried submitting a ticket in the “payment issues” category, and what a surprise - had 0 issues then…
I have exactly the same problem.
It has been going on for about two weeks now.
I have tried ALL the solutions I found on the internet to fix this problem.
All without the expected result.
Contacting the ISP, replacing cables, resetting the router, testing various router settings, typing commands in cmd, changing dns, formatting the disk, reinstalling Windows, changing Windows version from 10 to 11, disabling addons, changing computer settings, changing WoW settings, performing a dance to make it rain - none of these things helped.
Every day, every 5-15 minutes, the game freezes for several seconds, the ping reaches 2000 ms - which makes any activity except for Disturbed Dirt farming impossible.
Dear Blizzard - help, please… : >
I was in touch with ISP right now (kudos to them for actually caring about that) and they said it’s crystal clear that there’s a faulty node on the way at the “br01-eqam1” site (GoDaddy). So the only thing we can do is keep bumping this thread up, so it gets noticed eventually and Blizz does something about that.
Can you please narrow down which vpn location are you using to stop these delays from happening?
Thanks
Btw on us forum they have this same problem as we have.
So the funny thing is I am using right now my own location - Poland. First I tested Germany and Denmark and it worked well but for curiosity reasons I switched for a whole day for my own location and it works fine. This is a very weird issue.
My ISP didn’t detect any issues on their side. My internet connection works perfectly outside of WoW so I really don’t know what’s up. I will be testing other countries in the upcoming days.
It is a weird issue, yeah, and all I want is a blue post saying “we’re aware of the issue and working on it” - however long it’d take. But right now it feels like if anyone from CS shows up it will be the usual “contact your ISP, it’s something on your end”, when it’s hundreds of people. Asked several battle.net friends and about half of them can’t even play. And every day seems to be worse than the last.
Another question for you - could you post WinMTR from your “working” location? As it was posted before - there are several nodes that causes issues, maybe we could narrow them down to avoid them using VPNs (like only connect to locations that do not have “br01-eqam1” in routing table
Thanks again
I’m not an OP, but I have a WinMTR trace using mobile data (Plus Poland), it doesn’t have “br01-eqam1” node (and I have no issues when I play using mobile data):

Just as @Nulesmurt above said: using mobile data via usb tethering, there’s no “br01” node on the way, and no issue at all. Steady 50 ms, no matter what. At home, at work (same city, different ISP), and at my parents’ the issue remains unchanged. The 3 people I know irl also have the exact same issue - since last month - and just stopped playing.
Thing is - while using mobile data (a2mobile) I am still being routed thru faulty nodes :v
I am currently looking at using VPNs, so far using recognizable VPN service that starts with letter “N” still points you to that faulty host IF using PL/DE/NL as country of origin. Denmark is avoiding that host and I will play/test today using this location to see eif it helps
Still, I shouldnt minmax VPN to play a game that I pay month by month - this needs to be fixed ASAP
I use the recognisable VPN that starts with the letter “N” and I used yesterday PL for entire day and had a beautiful 37 ms all the time. With Denmark it was also stable 50 ms all the time. Germany was same as Denmark for me.
I will try to post the winMTR later as you asked.
Yesterday I finally messed up with VPN and I switched to few servers, while having ping into one of the WoW ip in the background all the time.
So whenever my ping has the no response for “few” pings, latency go up in WoW and I experience packet loss. If it’s a single no response, game seems fine to me. Well, anyway, I tested few servers and not every worked good, but I found few that work well and one of them was from Netherlands (which also gave me lower ping than what I usually had with my own ISP)
Game played nice, no issues whole time, well, maybe except for 2 or 3 times where I had the “Instance abort” error and it kicked me into “previous” zone when I was flying and changing zones xD But it is apparently an issue that can happen when using VPN. Only in outdoor zones for me.
Today I have some weird problems with connecting to the bnet friend list, it disconnects and so on - but my ping and tracerroute IS FINE. The address ae1-br01-eqfr5.as57976.net
have no packet loss (yet). Coincidence? Regardless of all of that, VPN solved the problem before and as soon as I get the packet loss on my ISP today, I’ll switch back to it
So atm I am connecting to the game without vpn.
I will just add to that, that the DE servers were still faulty for me but NL avoid the faulty nodes, at least in the vpn that I use.
what the actual s*** is going on literally 3k ms randomly in solo shuffle and dc randomly constantly…
Managed to do 2 keys yesterday without any hiccups. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, ready to alt+f4 and slam my pc shut. It was such a refreshing experience, I almost forgot how it feels to be able to play for 20 minutes without a dc.
Man, I sure hope it doesn’t come back ;_;
not resolved
just now

Yeah, back to the drawing board. Still the same problem… I’m so tired of this. Another key broken, and at this rate I’ll be on everyone’s blacklist.
