Can hunter learn 2h weapon like sword? I found a good sword. Should i learn him?
Also should i learn my boar only charge and growl, so it doesn’t lose focus easy?
We cant use wands or maces:p If the cost of training 2H sword is worth it for you just now then do it, it’s 9silver im sure.
9 silver too much on my level (12) i guess i will stay with axe! My axe is one hand, this mean i can also carry a shield?

only people that eventually wear plate can use shields
Edit: not true:p You’re confusing me now! Shamans can use shields too ofcourse
You cannot use shields no, but you can dual wield at level 20.
It’s best to stick with any good 2h’s you find and if you can afford to then train for the weapon you get if you think it’s a decent upgrade etc.

hunters can carry any 2hander and all 1 handers only wand and shields cant be used. that were the term " every weapon is a hunter weapon " came from they would need on every weapon they could get their hands on

Hunters can use every weapon in Classic.
Remember to need on every weapon you come across, no matter the circumstance.
I must go to undead city to learn 2handed weapon sword… Damn it… So i guess i will sell it.

Here are the weapons you can use and learn. As an ally Hunter you can learn
1h: Daggers, Swords, Axes
2h Swords, Axes, Polearms
You can learn different weapons from Ironforge, Darn and SW.
Wrong, hunters can’t use maces eighter.

As has already been pointed out above: No, hunters can’t use maces or wands, and they can’t use shields either.
I am a troll hunter and on ogrimar the trainer can’t learn me 2H swords. So I sold it.
Your melee weapons should really be stat sticks.

Its not much of a cost learing 2h sword if you can afford it.
In the long run (read mount) 10,20,30s wont matter anyway.
What you should be more carefull about regarding those precious silver (and evt gold) is what skills you choose to upgrade.
Leqring every skill no matter what class yoi play, will cost a shtload if gold in the end…
It’s not much, but the only Sword Master for 2H is on the Undead zone and i am troll. So its hard to travel there. Will lose much time.
Worth to learn staff skill?
Since you’re level 12, you can head over to undercity very soon to pick up the RFC quest.
Grab the sword skills while you’re there.
Grab the FP.
You’ll be walking 40% of classic leveling anyway, time will be lost.
There’s a zeppelin ride just outside of Orgrimmar that will take you to the entrance of Undercity.

I’ts probably worth the journey to learn 2H swords and Axes, because the next time you find a nice one - you will want to be able to use it! I’d avoid dual wielding at 20, stick with a slow 2hander with good stats (agi / stam / intel )and you’re good!

Some prefer dual wielding, some prefer a good 2H weapon. Dont know what’s the best. I guess each class has different priorities. But what about hunters? They dont have melee skills which synergize with attack power.
