Big Crits only comes from Soulfire am i right?
is it right that Soulfire specc is only good in late game cuz of Spellpower items?
My two favourite classes are hunter and lock and I’m playing both at roughly the same amount. Lock for pvp works well 1v1 in comparison to hunter as you have the range issue with melee but as part of a team I’ve always found hunter to be superb. Even as a pairing, if the other can hold the target at a distance, such as a rogue, it’s a superb combo. With lock, you have the advantage of health stones and drain life for some self healing whereas with hunter you’re more reliant on pots etc.
Thanks to those above for the feign death then trap not working correctly info. I wondered had I been misremembering that. For those unclear, you need to be out of combat to pop a trap so the trick was to feign death and immediately pop one as that feign took you out of combat. The idea being that a frost or freezing trap gave you the ability to gain range back.
End of the day, play what you find fun to play. If one class was the best class above all others then no one would play anything else.

It’s quite the opposite, Hunter not having the OP skills of a mage, like to be able to just blink removing stuns and then cold snap to blink again, requires from a hunter player a lot more awerness, positioning, smart play, quick reflexes and planning what to do next. As a hunter You don’t have so many o crap buttons like mage has, which makes your pvp life hardwer not easier like you claim.
And Hunter is a beast in 1v1 if you play right. Don’t whiners fool you. Hunter can perfeclty trap people in pvp, i do it all the time. So if your mind says hunter, go hunter.

I already play Hunter, I am actually thinking about keeping it as my main this time around, time well tell, thanks for your input on made up bs phrases to make you sound right when you have nothing really to say.
Also to your knowledge , Cold Snap only removes cd for frost spells.
thats true…as i said earlier im afraid to fall complete off in later stage (as hunter) in classic cuz of the lack of scale like other classes… but it didnt seems so

Go hunter, very good class for 1v1. You Can struggle against good mages or locks, but you have engineering to help you. Ice and shadow reflectors to reflect theirs spells back. Nothing is more satisfying, then killing a mage scrub with his own forstbolt xD

Hunter does not scale well (in comp to spd classes) from Agi gear, but standart white base damage on BIS weapons makes autoshots a big dieal.
Have you ever seen how one huntard dropped mage/locks to 30% just by multi + autoshot crits ? BWL xbow + AQ40/naxx gear is insane
SL lock is a boss, buts its 1vs1 spec and practically runnning garbage in mass pvp or real premade fights due to CRAP damage this spec does. Regular lock can be twoshoted if its not some alchemy/engy tryharding nerd.
Iam maining hunter now and nothing more funnier than twoshoting horde mages in mass pvp - you are not focused due to distance and able to shoot clothies away very fast. Can not wait for alterac battleground
Wait for naxx, sell nudes to your GM for KotS trinket (20% speed up your aimed shot cast) and you huntard will be god in a good hands.

Sure girl, you gave me hard lesson when you told some bs that is not even possible as Cold Snap does not work on blink, idk why you try to troll so hard, always attempting to trigger me ! Keep up the good work, Hunters are cool , just takes almost no skill , 5 fingers that work and you are pro.

as i said i like the big crits and this comes from Soulfire… but the problem might be im nearly one shot target if i dont get up the Succubus seduce
but yeah hunter might be a real style class

I know many people who rolled locks just because “woah cool numbers everyone sey its a awesome class” but left, cause its not their class.
Hunter meanwhile is very versatile and really interesting to play (class with pets).
Yes, at this very moment it has many bugs - FD delay (confirmed and will be fixed), pets are clunky (takes more skill to command pet in time), meele leway (works both ways, need to adapt). Current gear is crap and does not allow hunter to shine (no good pvp trinkets for burst damage, casters do not oneshot themselves in reflectors etc, no good very slow weapons for huge multishot crits). With aq40+ progress this class will be really fun to play, especially in group pvp when u dont have to kite your opponents 24/7.
o yeah that is true, but still you have 2 ice bloacks that can break cc like hunters freezing trap, ez af for low skill players.
paladin 100% been pally every since i started playing back messed around on all the other classes but i am very much bonded to pally
Hmm sounds great so far… but there is my Problem i dont wanna wait soooo long till aq40 since i can do real pain into other people
even without that hunter is good dmg wise. you can 3 shot a clothie with yoru aimed, multi shots followed by an autoshot. Or at least drop them to like 20%. Don’t worry hunters are fine depsite what you will hear.
FD Trap is working pretty effectively.

No sir it was not … I played hunter during Vanilla and can assure you FD+Trap would fail unless target was not able to re-target me (CC, scatter, ect)
Makes sense, as Faint death removes target, removing you from combat, nothing else, if you are retargeted you are back to combat, so you must be very fast.
