Hello, Guys! i Just wanted to ask you
Whats overall stronger in World PVP and BG Like AB/AV…
i Cant Decide between these two classes… (i play Alliance , and i have enough Time to put effort in the class mechanics)
It would be great to get a friendly and helpful answer…
Greets
During leveling, hunter, At cap, lock (imo).
Also remember if you are playing alliance, you are in disadvantage as a lock vs horde… but don’t let that stop you.

I think it comes down to personal preference.
Hunter has better scouting abilities, more maneuverability.
Warlock has a wide range of tools for dealing with different situations.
Hunter struggles 1 vs 1 with DoT classes, warlock struggles with rogues and warriors (and undead players to some extent).
Overall, both classes are fun and good with enough gear, so just pick whatever you like the most.
Nice, thanks for the fast reply…
lets talk about level 60 cap
so yeah its might be Warlock in your opinion… thanks!
mhm i thought, Hunters goin the be weak in late game cuz they are not scaling as much as the other classes…but is that the same in pvp?
Hunters stay quite strong over the course of the game, maybe become a bit weaker towards the end, but always dangerous (except maybe vs holy paladins, can’t really kill them).
Imo, warlock is a bit stronger overall, but both have easy and hard targets.
in Pve both rule, and are easy mode.

warlocks are weak-ish early on at 60 because they need a lot of stamina and spell power to do well. So be careful about that.
Once they have t2 gear (bwl), they’re seriously strong, and after that (aq40 and naxx40) they’re absolute monsters in pvp…but it takes time to get there.
Hunters are always ok, able to cc, do dmg, viper sting and so on, so they’re always in demand and useful, but after BWL (even during that depending on the case) you’ll feel weaker than the other classes.
Your choice, both are viable.

Thanks, both of you guys! its so hard … both are Strong i cant decide!
But yeah thanks for the help it means alot!!!
Hunters have problems in classic because feign death ice trap combo is too slow to pull off. In real vanilla it was almost instant to perform but in classic there is something causing a delay with dropping combat. This means hunters have a hard time peeling off players in their dead zone until it’s fixed.
The Question is, do they fix it? any info’s about that? i mean its a big disadvantage then am i right?
There’s a 600+ post thread on the US bug report forums about it. They attempted a fix but it’s still not working the same as vanilla.
People suspect it’s caused by the artificial lag spell batching.
For the Main PVP Hunter its might be Frustating to cannot play the Mechanics proper…hopefuly it will be fixed
well i do FD trap combo all the time and it does not work like in 10% of cases if not less.
Hunter is good but playing this class properly takes a bit more skill then your average mage with 4 buttons.
Hunter takes no skill whatsoever, its rotation is completely predictable and 90% same in every encounter, where mages all fight needs to be adjusted.
Locks are gonna be top tier for pvp, but honestly play what you want to bud, no point in rolling a class you dont want to play just to be good in pvp, theres always the skill capp of your class to aim for, and hunters are the masters of kiting along with mages
100% True i dont contradict…but thats why i ask for these both…honestly my mind tells me to play Hunter…but im afraid of the bugs and of the late game that i cant catch up with the other DPS … i like the big Crits (Like Soulfire or Aimshot or Multishot)
Yeah, in the end Lock is going to be god tier, as some stated locks will have a ton of hp and spell power + a lot of class mechanics to fight and counter every situation.
Hunter is by no means a ez target. and a good Hunter is a beast. Tho yeah, struggles vs dots.
As most said, play what you will enjoy the most, not the fotxp
Small Edit, if you want big crits, than Warlock is your man !
there is no such thing as rotaion in pvp. It depends on encounter, and hunte ris by far more difficult to master then mage.
There is nothing difficult about Hunter , most of his skills are not based on changing situation but rather pure dps skills you have to keep shooting on target while you keep your distance, only traps and depending on your skills you can get some stun , there is no damage evasion , like literally there is almost nothing in hunters kit that takes changing situation actions.
