Hi guys, I’m going to be leveling with a hunter and likely experiencing (or looking for) our fair share of world PvP.
As the Hunter is pretty self-sufficient PvE, the class won’t matter too much when adventuring, so I’m trying to work out what the best class option could be to cover each other’s PvP weak matchups.
I’ll be most likely playing horde so pally is off the table. What do you guys think?
Something that can heal. I would say a hybrid class, maybe shaman.
Honestly this is the answer for pretty much anything that doesn’t already heal.

Another hunter. That way your partner won’t be annoyed that everything is a hunter weapon.
More seriously, since you want to play world PvP as well as PvE questing, two hunters that cooperate makes for a terrifying team.
As an alternative, anybody who can heal.
Since hunter is a high-mobility class, pairing with a druid is probably optimal.
This still happens. I ran cathedral with a chain-puller who was dual wielding Coldrage Dagger and Glutton’s Cleaver. We replaced him to go Armory after… and the next hunter had a Ravager.
