Hey folks, quick question. According to Petopia a cat can learn Claw. I have a lvl 35 cat with 35 training points remaining. I learnt Claw rank 5, I can see it in beast training. It requires lvl 32 and costs 13 points to train. But it doesn’t seem to work? Am I missing something?
Any advise or stern lecture welcome! 
*Edit - Found the answer. You can only learn 4 Active skills.
You can only learn 4 active skills for a pet, but you can skip ranks, so don’t worry about missing one. It’s nice to learn all of them however to handle pets in specific level ranges.
Is growl considered as one of 4?
yes it is

Not entirely correct. You can learn as many as your pet can. But you can only have 4 active pet spell/ability at the same time.
My pet has growl, claw, bite, dash, prowl and cower but at any given time I can only assign 4 of them as the “active ones”.
