Hunters doesnt get Dire Maul Attack power buff

The dire maul buff says 200 attack power, not 200 meele attack power. Hunters are already scuffed and a bugged class, how much more are we gonna have to wait for fixes? Dont say that its working as intended

How is it working as intended when it says attack power and not MEELE attack power? That is clearly not working as intended. Lets say healers couldnt benefit from the 3% spell crit, because it says spell crit and not healing spell crit. Its stupid from blizzards side, they know it, they just dont wanna admit it was wrong from the start.

I don’t know why it doesnt say it’s only for melee but it’s not the only case that happens.

How is it a flaw? The boss can get to you, i think soloing the water elemental in east is worse cause there you just jump Up and down a small ledge… this One is a bigass One. And we really dont jump Up and down.

The point is, one is taking every advantage of broken mechanics, then complaining that another broken mechanic doesn’t favour hi,.

But what you’re asking for is not a correction (because nobody knows what Blizzard’s original intent was; we only know Hunters didn’t get the AP bonus back in the day) but a straight buff for your class.

PS: Have some decency and post on Classic characters! A shaman, no less… Shameful!

Tooltips in Vanilla is meaningless. They are very vague, inconsistent or sometimes flat out wrong.

What is important is what the buff does, and Fengus has the effect:
Effect Apply Aura: Mod Melee Attack Power

That means it will not affect hunter ranged attacks.
