Hyperspawn is stupid

Yes I died. Yes I know the rules. But I think this is pretty stupid, considering that in that cave there was only one small group besides of me.
And yet those trogg things in that silver mine in loch Moran respawn 1 sec after you kill them and immidiatly Aggro on you.
I went through like 12 of them but at some point it was just overwhelming.
I think this is not ok and judging by the number of corpses there I’m probably not the only one.
Like this caves aren’t soloable at all.
Is also not Vanilla as it had fixed timers.

I love it, but thats just because i like added difficulty

Dynamic repawn fixed to zone (not subzone even) pop is really bad Iidea. I been saying so like forever. Only now people try play HC, many luckily agree to me  Maybe if we make much noise we have it turned down.
It so is not Classic, but then so is not layers too and they are partners in crime here.

I was also wondering why mobs respawn so quickly. No time to eat/drink.

You just go out of spawn area and drink there. But that doesn’t work in caves and ravines so don’t go deep into these. Without solid party.

There are some quests that require to go deeper in the cave for item or specific mobs.
The problem is that with hyperspawn you can’t get out. Often there aren’t any safespots either. So you just keep killing them 1 by 1 or even 1 by 2 and they keep respawning right in your face without a break

So? You can skip quests you know OR get a full party for particularly dangerous areas. Don’t expect mob respawn to be changed unless realm population drops significantly.

My first character died to hyperspawns, you can never really tell when it’s going to occur either. Often you’re waiting around ages for mobs and other times you don’t have time to kill the ones you’re fighting before more appear. It can be very quiet around you and still the hyperspawning occurs.

I guess the moral is always BEWARE

Rested XP skips some of the cave quest too.
for example the big cave quest in Nelf area.
i did it on my old hc character and it was a miracle thet i got out there alive ^^

best strategy in caves is to stay with other players. the most help. most of them help you to kill a “boss” and clear the area if you helped first. love this community on hc.

ok some ninja pulls and then dies but that not my fault

hyperspawns is stupid, very bad idea, it makes the problem endless, vicious circle
modern blizzard has nothing in common with professional developer

Great input. Thank you for your contribution. Anything else to bring to the table?

I don’t mind them, been through that with a shaman I made and it wasn’t that bad thanks to earth-bind totem, but it is important to be self-aware of what’s around you.

Alchemy is great for this sticky situations.

Hyperspawns almost killed my warrior aswell. Problem is not having hyperspawns would make the game pretty much unplayable since you’d have half the layer camping 10 mobs.

So to understand. You mean that if the layer on loch modan is full but i am alone on the troggs cave, will they hyperspawn even if i am the only one killing them?

We know how this game works. If I enter the cave alone I know that I am already dead.

Yes, if you are all alone in cave, and only one or two is elsewhere in Loch Modan. Dynamic spawn happens.

How layering and spawning work on wow classic? And why do we have hyperspawns only on caves, even if there maybe are few players inside?

Can you explain what is dynamic respawn?

The moral of the story is do not go alone into caves, ravines and creature camps. You only get one life, why’d you do anything even remotely dangerous without taking all possible precautions? Form a 5 man party with a healer and a mage vending machine and go demolish the hyperspawns.

Is a mechanism by Blizz - probably what you call hyperspawn - to put more players to one realm.
Mechanics look to how many in given zone and spawn what it see as fitting number of mobs. Only problem is that mechanics can not see if people only passing through on roads - big trouble in Wetlands - or just herbing or mining. The layers also somehow contribute to extra spawn. I not understand this mechanics, I just describe how I seen it work from launch of Classic onwards.
