Which is a pointless and moot argument because it’s simply not true - many times your rotation just won’t change or the change is absolutely as minor as possible to the point of being irrelevant.

It’s called survivorship bias, obviously people remember the interesting set bonuses that altered their playstyle, which existed, while ignoring the boring ones which didn’t.
So it’s completely irrelevant if their reason for wanting something isn’t up to your standards, the fact is that people were associating set bonuses with a change to their rotation from season to season, a change that was dictated by the devs, a change that they wouldn’t have made themselves, because they didn’t.

The last time we had really fun tier was firelands and dragonsoul.
Thing i like about tier is each class looks different, i can not stand the generic sets for leather/mail/plate/cloth like we had in ToTC in wotlk and in BFA and some of SL.

Exactly this i would go back to bfa gearing style but with a 3 box looting system if i could 100%.

I miss the dopamine from getting a very good gear piece and feeling like i have achieved something and your character becoming more powerful because you have worked and put effort in to it.

Blizz should make the core spec abilities and talents feel good and be balanced instead of wasting time on tuning borrowed power.

Some of them were good and some of them were extremely bad. They add variety and alter gameplay and if there werent so big balance issues in general they could be fun.

But even without tier sets there would be so big balancing issues in all content that there would be some overperforming specs so I guess its only matter of finding which that is and then taking the set that comes for it and be happy to gain some variety on the spec between seasons.

But I agree, they have done some reworks and tuning patches but they could still do more and more often if there is this big balance issues that we basically have handful of specs playing some content and we see clear outliers in statistics.

I could paste screens but they are in sites like drustvar and the like for all to see themselves, there is triple the amount of certain specs in some content compared other specs when everyone have jump on the most overtuned specs for past 4 months, and then maybe few odd playing some neglected spec. Balance this season both set bonus and spec wise has been just terrible in general on all fronts, and Im not talking of the druidic spec
