And now I feel sick.
Just one misclick and over a decade of item placement has been ruined, items I knew where to find have just gone elsewhere, the history of where items ended up in my bags, all gone for a single mouseclick in the wrong location.
I’ve put in a ticket to undo it, but I’m still feeling awful in the meantime. The bag clean up doesn’t even do a good job of it, so not only am I looking at a machine’s idea of item placement instead of my own… It’s a very stupid machine’s idea 
Sorry but thats ridiculous, the stuff moved place, you didnt put it througha crusher.
So you’re saying that you wouldn’t be upset if, say someone rearranged the stuff in your house?
This is why ticket queues are so long.
People opening a ticket for something trivial that isn’t even a game issue.
This is new record for trivialest thing to moan about.
Go to your WoW screenshots folder, find a screenshot where you have your bags open, bam problem solved.
please remove it. Gms won’t be able to do anything about this, so it will just make the ticket of other people longer.

Why even make such an effort to keep bags arranged? Add-ons can turn all bags into a single big bag. Click-on items can put in an action bar so they can be used without having to even open the bags. And gear sets are best managed in the Character window.
Next time, mark your bags as “ignore this bag”, and the clean up botton will do nothing.
Also, you might want to remove your ticket. Pretty sure you have to redo this yourself.
The default ui also makes all bags into one if you want.

AND you put in a ticket for this? Honestly, that should be a bannable offence just for wasting GM’s time. No wonder the ticket times for genuine issues are so damn high.

I’m sorry you’re going to have to sort them out again but, for the future, there’s an add-on called ‘hide clean-up bags button’ which does is exactly what it says and just that, nothing else.
Well, some of us actually like to keep the bags tidy and organised our way.
^^ That is how it feels like.
Sadly the devs did not implement any undo to the ‘make a mess in the bags’-button and any tickets wont help.

That doesn’t change what I said, I can still look and see how silly something is, regardless of if I have the problem or not 
And comparing someone moving stuff in your house to a bag in a game is hysterical. Do you cry in-game when someone dies like you do IRL too?
This is devistating
but YOU are the one who rearranged your own stuff in your house tho lol
why didn’t you set all your bags to “ignore” if you didn’t want stuff moved automatically on pressing the button?
