doing the lords work
Blizzard is hypocrite. They consider dispelling as pvp even Blizzard know people dispelling not for any pvp activities , not killing , not getting anything in game , not pointing any pvp experience but just to get the joy of griefing. So they have to ban dispellers to ban ppl who attack only boosted or any low lvl person constantly
How pathetic one must be to do this kind of thing over simple convenient feature in video game.
Sad.
Probably boils down to lack of customer support staff and those they do have being overworked for far less money than they should be making. Theyâve been trying to automate the whole process for years. I remember you could open a ticket and literally wait 10 minutes or less for a GM to help you. What is it now, 7-10 days for a copy/paste response and then that again for an actual answer?
Whereâs the deodorant, guys?
I donât understand how this can bother some people. Boost is here primarily for returning players who donât want to play Classic but TBC. Why should I go throught tedious and boring leveling process in Classic when I return to play TBC?
Do you know how boring leveling is rn? In phase 6, leveling zones are nearly empty. You are on your own playing single player game. You canât even get into dungeons because of lack of people. If you want dungeons you need to buy boost (which is basically what you criticise) for gold.
Leveling in Classic in phase 6 is simply disgustingly boring and long. So if Blizz allows players who want to play TBC to skip Vanilla, im all in. They will have bad gear and they still need to levelup in TBC like everyone else.
After 15 years of WoW i really donât want to levelup for 2 months in an empty zones.
Because if you started late and only joined in TBC, you had to go through the boring and tedious levelling experience.
Sure, recruit a friend was introduced. But there was no buy-your-way-past-it option.
Yes and back then it was a fresh experience for me and I was insanely bad player without any thoughts of competitive playing. If you start leveling from level 1 in TBC you will be behind by a lot.
TBC now isnât a fresh experience, 90% of people know exactly what it is about so leveling up from a scratch is simply boring. Endgame in TBC is a whole different story and the reason I want to play.
TBC isnât about leveling like Classic is (sorry, Classic endgame is a joke except of maybe Naxx).
We dont want convience in classic wow
About a week, actually.
Experience required from 1-60 is significantly reduced. Dungeon drops from 1-60 are improved, questing hubs are added and the elite/group quests are changed to all be easily soloable.
Personal opinion.
Blizzard gave you the easy route and screwed the gameâs integrity when they did so, which has upset players. If they want to be against the level boost, thatâs their choice.
But do you know what the real sad thing about it all is? As I said in another thread: Back when Classic was announced and we preached #nochanges, people would often say âyeah but I just want this small change, itâs not like improved graphics is suddenly going to lead to a level boost!â.
I wish Bodiesan was still around to see this crap.
I get Your point, i really do, but donât try to get between Blizzard and their highly possible earnings from boost.
Better just go with it and enjoy it while it lasts. After all, its just a game.
Indeed, why should you go through the tedium of earning honour in PvP? Why not just enter your credit card details and BANG! instant capped-out honour? Why go through the hassle of actually running a raid for tier gear? In go those credit card details and SHAZAM! Instant Tier 6!
Why indeed bother with the hassle of playing the game at all? Why not just enter those all-important credit card details one more time, along with your account details, and your friendly Booster Pal will play your character for you until you have all you need?
The only content i want to play myself is fishing so i really like to pay to skip all the other content.
TBC starts at lvl 58 in Outland, I want to play TBC, end of story Your examples are totally wrong. Doing non rated PvP, rated PvP, dungeons, raids, its all TBC content and I will certainly enjoy that
What I don´t enjoy is boring single player game which Classic leveling is rn. After 15 years of WoW I simply had enough of leveling, I play WoW for max level content (thats why I didn´t play Classic).
1-58 level isn´t TBC content. Boost won´t allow you to skip any TBC content. Many players who didn´t play Classic return to play TBC and TBC only (because it has a relevant endgame activities unlike Classic since the beginning).
Kill 40 boars in Westfall = Boring
Kill 40 Worgs in Terrokar = Brilliant, engaging gameplay.
TBC isnât a separate game. It is an EXPANSION PACK on an existing game (world of warcraft). And we got classic with the premise of âliving the entire timeline exactly the same way as 2005â. This is the sole reasoning behind classicâs existence. What you play now is a recreation of an old game.
If TBC starts in outland, why a player that doesnât pay a bunch of real money starts at level 1 and needs to level in vanilla zones? Maybe you oughta say âTBC starts in outland for the rich people that can bribe blizzard and starts in elwynn forest for the peasantsâ.
If TBC starts in outland, why are we carrying on to TBC with our current characters? Why donât we start with new generic level 58 characters?
Again, itâs an expansion, not another game.
The planet doesnât revolve around your desires. The important thing for a game designer is not to do exactly what you want, but do what is good for the game, its integrity, its story, its long term playability, its ingame features(like economy, player interactions etc.)
I want a lot of things in the game. I for instance did 600 strat UD runs to get that mount. That equals to months of game time for an average player. It didnât drop. But I want it more than anything else in the world. Still, if they were to put it in the cash shop for real money I would make a big fuss on the forums and protest it.
Because I care about other things then my own personal desires in an MMORPG. The one and only thing to extract from all the threads on this matter is; there is 2 camps of players: 1. those who care about the game 2. those who dont gaf about the game, and just want to have some cheap instant fun.
Sarcasm skill: 100.
The resources, the rep, the BoE chances, the endless opportunities!!!
nor around yours
Devs will follow the desire of the majority, if still fit their idea of TBC
