i felt in the mood to gamble, i was starving for new fresh content a new game, only to log in to the most dull clicky game ever. slow movement, clicking G to read/pass quest time 100 times per quest. and its alot of quest there. i played a berserker or warrior or what ever, i press button S and i kill every thing…
Mobs grants next to no XP at all. all is forced gameplay, its like being a child and ur told what to do. im sorry im a grown up now, i wanna atleast have a explore feeling.
You missed the point… lost ark is supose to be like wow, noone cares whats going on in leveling is all about end game, but its there for you to explore and familiarize with everything going on.
even lvling in wow is more fun than lvling in lost ark.
some times you are in a zone on the map a blue zone. u get 2-3 minutes to kill 5 mobs. it takes about 2-3 seconds to kill one mob. give me a chanse to fail?
Maybe because it’s not intended for you to be challenged at this stage of the game, it is clearly meant to be a story telling and exploring moment.
Youre supose to explore your class and try out the game before the pressure to keep up with content LOL
I bought Plat edition of Lost Ark and I am enjoying it very much. The only problem I have is that it maybe a bit on the easy side, but as I progress it is starting to ramp up the difficulty. I think the dungeons are excellent even if short. Some really good boss mechanics. I still play WoW and I don’t prefer one over the other. It will be f2p tomorrow so if anyone wants to try it out feel free to do so. Certainly no need to bash one game or the other.
i did ‘‘explore’’ all my attacks does aoe every thing! very short cool downs, i even kept on without setting in tallent points or skill points or what ever, at no point was i the sense of danger, game also tosses gear after you all the time, it gets boring to loot and use it. the Sword i use is bigger than the world itself, looks stupid.–
but im gonna be fair, if there is a way to make quests instant pick up without listen to bad actors/text i might give it a new go. i just want the quest and go, not stand there for 20 seconds- one minute. i did delete game already, but yea its possible to take quest and move on instant i might try again. because man was that annoying asf :S…
Tbh the lore does not interest me. I just spam left click ( don’t need to press g) until the dialogue is done. Yes I agree its a bit dialogue heavy, I don’t like it myself, but others may. With that said I don’t even care for the lore in WoW either. I have been playing since TBC and I couldn’t really tell you anything about what is happening in game. I like doing all the professions in LA and collecting all the collectables and doing the dungeons on hard mode.
For me its fun because its something new. I will decide if I want to carry on with the game once I get to end content and explore what that has to offer. I’ve put 31 hrs into the game already and I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon.
thats what awesome with wow u take the quest and just flee from those crazy npc in 99% of the cases, ur not forced to spend alot of time on each quest when u pick it up.
Well maybe is not for you, but not game fault, i understood that leveling is supose easy otherwise you would be hitting a lot and not getting any progress, i tried world bosses went to look for seeds, you can afford to take your time to explore because nothing is really a threat at the moment.
The end game is supose to be difficult and some bosses you face you learn that if you miss time your attack you get hit because you locked in animation. Game is slowly teaching you stuff.
Personally im not bored, quite lot of stuff to do in the game.
is there a way to get quests faster? without spamming G or mouse?.
and alson its not like i dont want to like the game, there was a reason why bought plat founders, because i really wanted something to take my attention for a few weeks atleast.
but every dull moment for me in the game when i pick up quest, i question why i bother to experience this feeling over and over again.
well to be fair, i dont struggle, i just melt stuff i think i even did a hard mode dungeon or what ever, was not a issue at all. so if its already easy and talents make stuff more easy i try avoid it until i hopefully start to struggle, i like to get challenged in games. when its just faceroll i get bored very fast
I’ll try it tomorrow. I don’t expect too much from f2p mmo game, but who knows. The game looks interesting, but I definitely don’t like that the classes are gender locked. If nothing else it will serve until the elden ring comes out.
That makes sense if it means more powerfull like stats, but my class some skill talents change how they work. Also you get more skills with more talents, you’re supose to try them because it gets convoluted when you try to combined them. One example my class doesnt jump but now got a skill with jump and then you can jump to a target location. Are you sure you took the time to explore?
i lvled to 14 before i quit, i had the need to start QQ or joke about G, just to get some relief… but i had to be lvl 17 before i could use chat, so it was to much for me so i deleted the game hahaha
