you mean the email sent the 24th of august after the EA already started? yeah that really clears up ahead of time that it doesnt launch fully the 23th.

It’s august 26 and i still can’t play it. Do they know, they literally stole 4 days of game time from us who bought standart pack?
Its in my advertisement tab as well but i just looked and the only mail mentioning the early acces is from the 24th of august anyway.
But yeah i guess people who play more games than just wow would have this stuff in their spam folder unless its some kind of email account specially meant for gaming. I mean i dont want to know about inagme store sales, overwatch 2 and diablo updates and what not

On the 22nd I got an email about transferring timerunner characters to live which mentioned early access, it’s mentioned in an email about Cata classic from 3.5., and it’s in an email for TWW announcement from all the way back in November of last year. They told you almost a year ago in the email that announced the expansions and then plastered it in places it seemingly doesn’t need to be over the next year.
I really don’t know how you wanted them to tell you without literally forcing it down your throat.
Fair but can’t complain about missing news and announcements then.
Not everyone reads spam mate, it should have been better advertised. Or given some proper title. Nobody is going to find it in a mail with a ttitle about ow2 or cataclysm clasic when they have no interest in that content.

How could they have stolen 4 days of game time if the official release is tonight at midnight? Also, what does game time have to do with your inability to play TWW, considering you bought the Standard Edition and not the Epic Edition, which includes early access? It doesn’t make any sense.
If they had truly “stolen” game time as you claim, you wouldn’t be able to log into the game at all. But you can still play the game right now with your current subscription.
And if you’re complaining that “they stole 4 days of game time,” then what should I say? I bought the Collector’s Edition, it didn’t arrive before early access started, and I still don’t have it - so I won’t be playing tonight when it officially launches. Should I sue them because they deprived me of playing ahead of time like the other players who had early access?

Yes thats how people find out when they do return to the game. why the hell would i keep battle net installed when i do not play wow or just why should i open battlenet. I only need it for wow after all.
Maybe people who also play cod or hearthstone might have seen it, but not people specially returning to wow because they thought the game released the 23th. battle net isnt steam after all where you have far more games you are likely to be playing
So, you didnt have the game installed, didnt read any mails and didnt check the forums but are annoyed that you arent up to date on a feature in said game?

I received several.
First time I got told about the early access in an email and noticed it, was when I got the invite to the alpha, which was back in May.
Then:
One on 16th of august.
Then another on 22nd.
Then another one on 23rd.
I also got several notifications from the app on my phone before it launched.
It has also been very visible in the launcher.

i knew the expansion was out so i googled it and the sources i could find all said the 23th.
So hell yeah im not reading wow classic or overwatch spam email when i dont play it. The only mail directly clearly being about EA got sent the 24th.
And ofcourse i dont got the game installed when i am not playing. You never heard of people returning on expansion launches?
And no, there is no reason to go to the forums when you dont got game time. Its not like you can ask the questions you want to ask there.
