why would i click on emails called pre purschase the war within now. i know you can prepurchase the game. and i dont give a damn about all the preorder bonuses before EA. So clearly im not going to check whatever mount or toy is included this time like it has been for 20 years.
No the only email clearly implying there is an EA was on the 24th. It would be different if the email title was “preorder now, because you got to pay 40 bucks more to play on launch” then it would have been clear an Ea exists.
The problem is after 20 years of just being mounts and pets and game time in the packages they quietly added a EA. So clearly if you have no interests in buying mounts or toys with real life money you arent going to check those lists. Because you know for 20 years now there has nothing been in those packages giving you a paid advantage
Let’s try a different approach then, how would you expect them to advertise this to you when you when you’ve seemingly done all you can to avoid being advertised at?
All the time you invested in making threats on that topic you could have taken to get your hands on something to get also acces to EA . Maybe with some work for money or whatever you are able to do to make your wish come true.
I have been playing WoW since day 1. And I always buy the cheapest edition of each expansion. I am not bothered to read the differences among versions for each expansion.
I know the more expensive expansions usually have some mounts, transmog, or game time and character boost included.
But it is the first time that there is early access, isn’t it? or maybe I am wrong. But I didn’t remember there were other people having early access during previous expansion release.
So I didn’t know there is early access. Early access itself is not big deal for me. But I can totally understand there are others not aware of it, especially players that don’t read battle.net, regularly check wowhead, or following streamers, etc.
Yes, of course. What I am saying is that, it is the 1st time of early access, so it is understandable that people don’t know or expect that.
As for myself, even if I knew there is EA, I will not buy the mythic edition. I will only buy the cheapest edition. 3 days early access doesn’t mean anything for me.
With the current quality of WoW, it doesn’t deserve any more money from me.
I actually never thought of buying expansions with gold.
I paid my sub from Legion to Shadowlands purely with gold, because I play a lot of alts. Since the introduction of mission table in legion, I got a lot of gold just from mission table and professions, on tons of alts.
But since DF, with the removal of mission tables, and I play wow much less frequently now. I started to pay the sub again with credit card. And I don’t think i have the gold to buy expansions, even if i know it. lol
