Epic Mount & Riding at 60.
Which Warlocks and Paladins will for the moment also have to pay as the Class Mounts (de facto) won’t be available till Phase 2.
The only spell i learned through 30->40 was frostbolt, had enough for mount

I never had issues with this as I’d usually go with a gathering profession and skinning, and then change them later. I realised the other day I’ve never been a part of a truly new server tho, I’ll need to think it through a bit this time :D.
Irony abound, I had plenty of gold at the time as I got an epic staff drop at lvl35 from a random mob and sold it on the ah for 1000g.
I’m hoping for the same luck again… but no idea what value the staff would have now.
Not buying skills has different values for different classes
I need to keep shadow and healing builds topped up which is about 4/5ths of my spells
I have had to forsake the pvp skills (mana burn, mind control) which means I can’y really win any 1v1 against anybody and need to run at all times.
Can’t expect much if that would happen, seeing to realm is new and almost everyone struggle with money.
always bought all spell but did lot of money with a bit of ah business + never used coins on water since there is everywhere some friendly mage when you login =)
did about 20g on lvl 22 with sellin cook book from ashenvale in ah or frost oil recipe for 20g. sell all green weapon, shoulder & heads in ah (kids love these) they always sell 100%
especially recipe are very good because there are a lot of clueless people

Nope I wouldn’t expect that again, will be interesting to see how the economy evolves though.
To afford it you need to get naked & sell everything you have, if you want a mount, or get grinding & dont go naked :))

You start to question all your expenditure when you’re saving. Do I really need to take that FP. Can I take it part way and then walk xD

An FP is what, 1-2 mob kills? That’s the wrong way of saving gold imo. The time a flight saves will equal more mobs killed.
My friend and I have tested it, sometimes due to their weird routes of the flightpaths zigzagging back and forth, there is sometimes little difference in the time between going all the way or to a cheaper flightpath and running.
At the time the mobs didn’t yield enough money to make it a couple of kills to pay for it.

I’m 38 and I already bought the mount + I have 20g left. What I did was:
- Skin every beast I kill and vendor everything (264 skinning currently)
- Vendor everything I get from mobs and always loot everything
- Training mostly spells I need to level(allthough I did train some spells
for pvp just for the fun) - Only use the auction house to sell blues
And even with having bought my mount at 38 with 20g to spare, I still bought some upgrades on the AH as well buying some of the spells I don’t need (PvP spells) but generally I would not recommend this

I’ll get mine at lvl 40 just by pick pocketing armory 
Please delete your character
As already mentioned, don’t buy all spells available, just the important ones.
I had no problem affording my mount at lvl 40, since I had been skinning every beast I killed.
