A. Is it almost the same as before, just quicker phases so that after a year you can still keep playing for years with alts etc.
B or will it be deleted and you have to start over again?
Maybe stupid question, but this is very unclear to me.

It’s not announced but likely there will be some “storage” of toons after fresh runs out. It may be that after fresh your toons are move to “static” realm and new fresh starts out and when that ends it merges toons to that “static” - indefinitely.
