This is truth. There are forums for these things. We do not need constant spam about âNerf Class X!â âErmagherd I got one shotted by a Y, they are so broken, You must Nerf now or I quit!â âEvery class I donât play is broken and I DEMAND they be nerfed, or my Legal Team will take you to Court!â
Theyâre so repetitive, inane and often written with the kind of language and diction you would expect to find on the inside of an Asylum wall in the writerâs own bodily fluids.
Seriously, there are PvP sections of the Forum, stop spamming here.
Likewise endless PvE rants about âRioâ. Ok, I get it, it was a great song by Duran Duran, and was extremely catchy, and the 80âs was a great decade for music. Duran Duran also did other great tracks, âNew Moon on Mondayâ was vastly underrated, âElectric Barbarellaâ also, âThe Reflexâ is still one of the catchiest songs ever.

I donât want to see whinges about what particular class of PvP player beat up your imaginary Pixels today, or How it is vitally important that you play a theoretical mathematics exam to decide how your PvE raid could Min-Max like schoolkids writing the answers to the exam on their arms beforehand, and no, I especially donât want to hear about your character background, there is also an RP section, and I get enough of people trying to tell me about how âMy Village was wiped out by orcs, I am the sole survivor, left with nothing, apart from my fatherâs sword I swore to take vengeanceâ I get enough of that BS at LARP events.
Actually genuine just chatter and nonsense also has a section of the forums.

No offence Brig, but it seems to me youâre arguing that general discussion forums are truly for nothing but nonsense posting then? Do you actually mean that?
True, nonsense threads regarding wow have a place here, but acting like anything that is content and gameplay facing re wow such as PvP, pve, RP or classes belongs only in the specialist forum is basically saying the GD forums, the largest and most trafficked forum regarding the game, should be reduced to âwhoâs your favourite wow NPCâ type threads. You donât actually believe that do you?
Whatâs wrong with people using GD to discuss stuff of substance as well as nonsense?
Got nothing against nonsense threads in general but I will concede I do find it a bit excessive when multiple threads pop up in the space of an hour and seem to be for nothing more than fishing for TL3 gains, that said I wonât demand it stops, I just donât bother checking them out.
