I’m trying it with no consumables and regular SL gear and it feels like if I try one more time I’ll get it. I stopped counting how long I’d been playing after about 20 hours.
Well magetower is a challange, not a lootbox thats given to you after enough grind
I find it ironic how people on the forums talk so much about how valuable their time is, and use that excuse on every content in the game, with that logic every game in existance is a waste of time because i have to play it
For mog collectors, anything is worth the effort put in. Sure, I am one and still have a lot of mogs to collect, but I’ll definitely give a shot at the priest set and the rogue one.
ye but in case of 9.2 sets they are ugly as hell
when people ask for TIER sets they wanted class specific THEME
not raid specific
and they look like shadowlands bastion theme
Said content will get nerfed into oblivion either this patch or the next when tier is reintroduced. Will the cash mog be earnable trough gameplay (and I’m talking about gold to WoW token transactions) ?
And it works similarly how regular timewalking works where each time there is a new patch it gets easier. Not to mention that they will probably “forget” to disable the tier set bonuses.
The post I linked literally says they are going to be nerfing it.
Yeah it does, every single TW is a nightmare at the start of an expansion and it slowly becomes a breeze with every patch.
Anyway that’s beside the point. Yes I agree it is overtuned and they are nerfing it what more do you want ?
My ideal is to play the game for the content and upon achieving certain goals, you’d earn rewards.
I’m not sure that gating rewards too much is good, I’ve more often than not stopped enjoying the game and just grinding hard, not feeling joy but merely relief.
Doesn’t matter whether it’s my MC legendary weapon, which is missing one 4% drop, or some 1% mount I don’t even try, or the Battered Hilt.
The store, as you point out, just makes it even funnier, fueling the feud between the devoted and the casual.
Then again, so many people are defined by playing only to get some pixel rewards. It’s kinda weird because by now I like basic looks better instead of looking like a clown. My character is a successful nobody, after all.
Yes, this was 4 days ago and nerfs have already rolled out. Thanks to this nerf, I can consistently reach the first arcane barrage phase on Xylem, and guess what… I will just drop dead anyway because this RNG infested challenge just refuses to let me heal up fast enough to deal with the incoming damage. No matter how much I interrupt with every single tool I can find. I have yet to make it to the second phase and I’ve already wasted more than 2 hours on this now. If I have to touch this again I’m going to uninstall.
TW was 100% fine at the start of SL. The only reason there were some issues in 8.3 was because they re-scaled all content. If anything it’s new content that’s broken and makes it trivial.
I want them to actually nerf it to a point where you don’t have to bash your head against a wall and hope that all the stars align.
Sorry, you took me completely out of Context and I probably wasn’t quite clear enough.
I meant, it’s not a hard decision for you if you don’t want to play a multiplayer game, just play the multiplayer part of it.
Well the Mage Tower for one.
Then Path of Ascension is another.
And it’s not just about endgame content. You can solo the entire game exluding Dungeons and Raids. So it’s nice to have something end-game designed for the solo player.
Maybe slightly overtuned. But I’m making good progress in my SL gear. Hopefully going to get a few things down today.
I’m not going to get into a conversation about whether this is true or not.
In my eyes and mind, it’s not World of Warcraft theme, along with the majority of the other Store items. I mean, Where does Squeakers The Trickster hide out in Azeroth?
