Hey.
I just tried the “Make your own group” for the M+ that people keep suggesting.
20 min so far (been relisting every 5 min or so) and no tank or healer applied.
This system definitively needs improvement

They just need to add more tank/healer specs, and less dps specs.
This could have turned into a excellent tanking spec. pointing at augmentation

I just want to be able to jump in quick to content appropriate for my gear level.
I know there’s LFR, time walking, heroic dungeons.
But they die far too fast, when your burst on pull starts to go up in the 600k
Would be nice with some kind of content that you can just “Do” and not just have World of Waitcraft.

Tanks and healers dont apply to any key. They apply to those where they have some chances of getting what they are looking for.
So if you got that fresh +20 for the weekly, but have 1000 rio. They will apply for the +20 posted by the guy with 2800 rio.
So YOUR rio matters. Improve it.
So if you got ToT done on a +10, and are posting a ToT +18. Consider downgrading it to a +12 or something. Then do it to boost your rio.

How is that going to help? The people that want to heal are largely already healing, what you’d get are people that already heal spread out over more specs. Like, I play 3 different healing specs already: disc priest, holy priest and mistweaver.
If they’d add another healing spec and I switch to that to play it or play it in addition to the 3 I already play, you’re not getting another healer that pugs, I’ve just switched the spec I play.

Might as well buy full 20’s from boosters at that point.
I am not spending time on 12’s with my gear.
I am around 2300 score, posted a waycrest 19
It’s a 19. Why would anyone apply to a 19. You’d have people applying if it was an 18 or a 20.

Then delete 19? if it does not matter.
From the start the “Demonsbane” dungeons in blade & soul had 100 stages, when they noticed everyone was only doing stages like 21, 31, 41, 51, etc they downscaled the whole system to 20 stages, and now a few years later the system is down to stages 1-6 on the newest dungeons.
Each stage having more of a health/mechanical increase then before, so a 6 now is a 20 from before.
Why not just do the same for M+? Remove the clear bloat stages if there are some that people just don’t do

Nobody cares what gear you have. Only Rio is a measure of your “skill”.
And dont get me wrong. Im not saying you dont have the skill. You surely, 100% do have the skill.
But when you post keys, or apply to keys you have to prove it somehow to other people. And Rio is the way.
So doing a 12 is not a “waste of time” its an investment in future “less time spent” in LFG.
Also, my warrior alt has, by accident (because I just yolo keys with her), 2700 rio. But I went 1 key at a time. Just having fun. Waited ZERO time in LFG. Both looking for groups, and posting my own key.

You see… I can see how many 20s you did.
You can try that. But it wont work.
All im saying is you have to “work your way up” like everyone else. Why is this so weird for people to understand?
Its the same in the real world. To apply for a job, you need some XYZ qualifications and some experience. Get them, one by one, you get the job. Simple.

It does matter but you’re only going to get people that need it for score, which aren’t that many because if you can do a 19, you can do a 20 in most cases. So they go for a 20.
When I’m farming vaults, I go for 18 keys. If I want teleports on an alt, I go for 20 keys. Why would I want a 19 key?
It worked other seasons, just did not do it this season, so it’s low score atm
OK. Have it your way. Im not against boosting. I profit from it, so go for it.
But you are admitting here in public that you dont want to work for your rio. You just wanna get boosted and thats it.
So you are complaining about what exactly? That “working for your rio” takes some effort? (and not a lot, cause I did it with my alt with out even trying)…
Not sure what your point is. But case closed in my eyes.

What dungeon and key level was it? And what was your item level and score on the character you posted the key on? edit: Ah, WCM, +19, 2300. I’d probably not join this, because why do a +19 when you can just do a +18 for a vault slot, and 2300 is fairly low. I nearly have that on his new shaman and I’ve 5s in Tyrannical and have been spamming mostly low keys.
I feel the system is fine. There are just more DPS than healers and tanks, and healers and tanks can be choosey. When I look at the tool to find a group, I’ll prioritize groups where the key holder has experience and/or gear. (Although while spamming low keys for crests right now, I often join groups with just 1 DPS.)
They’ve already made tanking easy and gave tanks more damage and healing. The actual issue with tanks is that raids only need two of them. With healers in M+ the issue is that it can be frustrating if nobody helps with affixes (if able) or when people don’t use defensives, don’t play mechanics, don’t interrupt crucial spells (or anything at all), and take a ton of avoidable damage.

I don’t want to “work” and do tedious things, Just play.
I have gear enough for the content, so why do i need to do a 12 when i can easily do 18-20 ? I have a few of those completed already.
I just wanna plug & play.
But if getting 16 20’s done before you can get invited to 18’s then that’s a dumb system but i guess you’ll have to play ball.
Because this is not a single player game. If you want that experience play the new NPC dungeons.
You play with OTHER PEOPLE. That have different priorities than you. And you have to somehow prove to other people that your interests align.
That is why. If you want to plug and play… invest a bit on your rio so you can do it. Like I did with my warrior. I repeat: ZERO wait time.
I said 12s as an example. You said you did 18s and 20s. Fair enough. But you also said “a few”. So work on the keys that are bellow 18 and 20. Whatever level they may be.
And also, I already said. YOU know you can do a 20. But the people posting a key / applying for a key… DONT. How do you tell them?
Cause remember, its a multi player game. You have to tell them somehow that THEIR time is a good investment with YOU.
Thats not what I said. I said that to get to 20s you first need ALL dungeons in 19. Both tyranical and fortified. Not just 1 key.
