And Its all our own fault. I mean everyone in classic community, inc me but not just me but all others. normally blizzard is to blame but I say we take all the blame for it.
Classic is fully corrupted because of gdkps and gearscore which is us.
I am now a retail player again and I feel retail andies deserve a lot more then classic players because they accept changed unlike the pure classic players!
Even Dragonflight’s honey moon period is over its still gonna be more populated then classic regardless. I don’t know the future of wotlk classic but when you state some idea’s I do not expect anything happen post wotlk classic at this moment of time.
Classic is not ‘dying’, there are plenty of people playing.
I think that for some people, the notion of every server not being a mega-server, stuffed to the brim with hundreds of thousands of people, packed in like sardines automatically makes them assume the ‘game is dying’.
I am only raiding with PUGs, have done all raids with no problem, have never been in GDKP, don’t have a GS addon/dont know my GS. These are problems that you can ignore if you want.
Yeah, we will see in the future, but for now, there is no problem, and I did the same in TBC with no problem. If nobody will take me in the future, I can always try to form my own group with like-minded people. We will see.

Just guess why Blizzard decided to give you an extra 30 days game time if you buy Dragonflight xD
They NEVER give you anything for free. If the most greedy company wants to give you free game time, that means Dragonflight is in a real bad state and lost of interest ;DDD So sad :’(

I played on a serv with 600 players 50/50. And it was okay, i even could group every weeks end full raid Vanilla and TBC with 25 lvl 80. Whereas i even can’t do that on Wotlk Classic with 10k players…
Servers are dying only because people are raid logging.
There is nothing wrong with gearscore. Or no, there is. I wish it could also count enchants/gems/etc. It is a good addon to get a basic info if a player got enough gear to do content. When you are making a group, you want to set some requirements. Ofc there will be 3k gs player who can do 6k dps, but finding such player is like 0.001% chance, and most 3k gs players will do less dps than a 3.8k tank. So why take 0.001% chance?
As for gdkp - if you don’t like them - don’t join. Majority of pugs are good old /roll pugs with 3 or 4 Soft reserves (which is very nice).
what if I can just ignore gearscore and build up stats of my own instead and test them myself. I was gonna go for AA build for melee dps and use abilities for support. lazy I am myself but hey.
You can fully use it and do whatever you like with your char, no one is denying you of this right but keep in mind, that not every person might want to raid with you
