I think you’re referring to what the news and social media tried to make toxic, basically someone not being overly nice or being selfish. Toxic goes beyond those things, into the realms of racism/cancer jokes designed to offend. I personally haven’t seen that at all, I have seen elitist attitudes etc etc but that wouldn’t be toxic.

To be honest, in Vanilla Classic I played on mirage as horde and it felt great. Less groups etc, but the feeling of cities not being overly crowded was great - then again you’re alliance if that’s your faction based on your profile.
Just now, I almost feel like Classic is over with the changes they’ve made and their willingness to make changes because some players complain; the same “errors” they made back then.

I have now been through 4 raid-locks without a single new piece of new equipment for my main, and I am missing a whole lot of BiS.
I would join GDKPs if I had the skills to dish out insane amounts of damage : I’d see it as getting paid in gold ( literally ) for something I enjoy doing anyways, which is raiding – as opposed to farm or playing the auction house.
I have the gearscore addon, but make a point of never replying with the value, only that I have decent gear and know the fights. It’s handy enough to check off-specs, and spotting that ninja looter needing on a random BoE.
In fact, I mostly wear greens and seasonal clothing while not instanced. I recall a funny interaction where I got kicked out of a dungeon group for wearing seasonal clothing and jewelry - because the gearscore dipped below 2k, I was called a noob.
I am in almost all Naxx gear, and I did find the person who kicked me wearing a good 1k below my gear.

A lot of Classic players want changes too, but the 0,1 dont and they are the ones whining on the forums nonstop.
Blizzard should do surveys, instead of reading forums posts.
They want to change every expansion into a vanilla like, that’s the problem, because Vanilla is not a good game in 2022.

It’s not true, I don’t want to turn every update into vanilla, since no one can help the TBC Warcraft field anymore, there is a lot of superfluous and casual there. I just want an improvement in version 1.14.3 =)

We all want some players to leave and never be heard from again, but it doesn’t work like that. Not that he’s one of them, unless of course they’re anti-classic, then they can leave the game forever.
