No I swear, Blizzard. It’s a great hack. It’s definitely not hard to spot someone using the hack since he caps in 3-5 seconds. You legit have to be BLIND to not notice these depressed players.
I know you “legally” can’t ban them, but what if you made up a reason to ban them since hacking is “legally” allowed according to ToS.
But everyone else in their premades you can actually permaban on the spot. Exploiting another player’s hacks isn’t allowed if you read the ToS so they have no place in this game, just like all the bots you aren’t banning cuz of the money they pull in.
Alas the speedhack isn’t new. I probably last saw that circa TBC days but it was quite common. Harder for them to do in WSG as you could drop a trap on the flag but it still happened.
There is absolutely no way that those trinkets work for flag capping. Mage and paladin trinkets are “casting speed”. Capping a flag isn’t casting an ability.
Oh and also not enough people are actually abusing it cuz if it was a thing, you know all these terrible pvp premades would exploit it like crazy.
I doubt it.
But here is always some beeep who will use a cheat. And the risk of being banned or anything in classic? is slim.
But is it was common? ppl would get banned. And that is the problem
In vanilla you could instant cap flags with hand of edward the odd. I think that was fixed at some point, never tried it in classic. I don’t play mage or paladin but I wouldn’t be surprised if the trinkets work. I assume any mage with it would know the answer though.
