It’s always been that way and likely won’t stop. But they usually keep to themselves there.

I was just there half an hour ago, while I was going to DMF. Saw the usual goofing around outside and I guess inside there’s the usual female elves that just… stand there. I never understood the appeal honestly. The goofing around outside can be fun, I admit that… but the rest?
Anyway, I play on AD since 11 years and never had inappropriate whispers, probably because I play races like dwarves and KT. 
Im 37 and I play a bear on my druid and a pandaren. Does that make me furry? Ofcourse not. Do I need to share my ehm…bedroom behaviours with everyone to enjoy the characters I play? Nope.
Ignoring those people is the quickest way.
Most of those people use a roleplaying app which contains a ton of information that won’t show up in the game. It’s where all the weirdness is stored 
Used it for a while when I came to ad first. It was cool to see all the “serious” rp.

I went in the basement, but it was empty. But outside I met Arthas! And an… interesting looking Kul Tiran. Let’s just forget about the bedroom upstairs, it’s better for everyone. Let’s just say a Vulpera and a Dracthyr were there.

I wouldn’t want to completely dehumanize them, but yeah, if something goes that far… I’m staying as far as possible.

I stopped playing worgen because worgen will never receive the same level of attention as elves get in modern day wow, if you disregard the human form(as if you’re like me, you dont play them to play the human form at all) they have some of the lowest customisation available among races, let alone allied races too.
the racials are meh, the change recently is OK but eh. Theres so much which is interlocked customisation wise that its really painful to try and enjoy.
I mean yeah the wow comunnity is a bit dated and you do get a “rep” passivley by playing x-race , same for x-server too really. but it shouldn’t stop you doing what you want!
Kind of shocked to read that this is a thing… But like some have said block the weirdos that do this.
Don’t worry friend, your Worgens are getting a racial buff with some extra additional speed 
I used to like Worgens myself, but the benefits in M+ and other content, are too much of a perk, as Dwarf and other races, sadly it does matter, although people say they don’t, still very much playable, but I like the advantage ^^
They need to call it the “zoomies”

Vampires and werewolves were cool back then, but then Twilight happened and completely destroyed this fantasy. One would say its about time for ppl to forget Twilight existed, but Disney are trying to revive this content now as well, so Im afraid we will end up saying Twilight wasnt even THAT bad :X
In wow, I would even play worgens, but their racials and animations are super meh.
