I Like Worgen and I’m Not a Furry

I’m playing Pandaren and I’m not getting these whispers.

Dunno where you’re hanging out.

Never watched twilight, and probably never will.

Well, the memes all over the internet are enough to understand the problem, so you dont have to suffer through it on your own.

Something something sparkle emo teens.
Sums it up I believe

Yeah i saw the change. Thats basically them undoing old changes, in cata and mop you used to always be always able to overlap speed buffs. I dont remember when they removed it

Honestly, all your “arguments” read like a massive projection/cope. The classic: “It’s totally the other guys that are the degenerates, definitely not me, nothing suspicious going on here… Just please don’t check my search history!”

I’ve seen this rethoric used many times. And almost every single time the quicker someone is to attack/demonize entire groups of people, the more skeletons in the closet they tend to have.

Your behavior is anything but normal.

Wanted to write that, but you worded it so much better.

Hey, Furry fella here. Here’s my PoV

First of all, I want to let people that is unaware know that a lot of the things you hear about the Furries only goes for less than 1% of the community. We Furries do also hate and fight to get them out of the fandom, because they’re ruining for the rest of us, who are normal people like yourself. Some like to put on a suit and go to cons, some like to just make content and art, and others supporting them by commissioning art. I’m a art hoarder myself, it’s what I enjoy.

As for WoW and Furries, I’ve found my place on AD (since early DF) after many years on PvE and PvP servers. There’s a thriving Furry community with really great people, i’ve gotten new friends and we’re just normal people playing the game, and occasionally simping over Worgens, Dracs and so on, just like how these “bullies” drool over Alexstrasza and so on. Roughly we’re the same, with different hobbies.

I’m personally never in people’s faces about furry stuff. But I’ve been getting plenty bad comments, and have people (usually merged from another server) run up and be straight up a**holes. I usually try to educate them respectfully, but will go for a simple block if they’re continuing being mean about it.

It’s mostly uneducated people having little to no self-respect for themselves, needing to lash on others players having a good time with friends alike.

Edit: typos

I’ve played many worgan and have never recieved any whispers.

I didn’t read your post but god damn am I sure you are in fact a furry.

Edit: Dracthyrs arent furries, they are scalies.

I’ve never understood the whole furry thing. My guess is, most people, like me, just enjoy the different races. And some of these races happen to have fur, and paws or hooves, and snouts, and they’re pretty cool. To me it seems a strange conclusion anyone playing these races must be some very weird deviant.

Besides, if you happen to be a very weird deviant  , you do you you know. I couldn’t care less. Just keep it out of the chat!

'Twas ever thus, at least in my experience. One of my formative memories on Argent Dawn involved a complete stranger whispering me questions about my feet, my shoes, and how they smelled.

(For posterity’s sake, let it be known that I ignored the person for being weird, and in my innocence didn’t comprehend the nature of the questions for several years.)

This poor little fella Nannexx here started his career as a Warlock Feb, 13th 2005 in Northshire, where he still used his birthname. Came the cataclysm, he was doing some stuff in Silverpine Forest, not too far away from the border to Hillsbrand, gathering some herbs and what not, when suddenly BANG, shaky waky oh ma gaawd wud happenin’ :dracthyr_nervous_animated: :dracthyr_uwahh_animated: :dracthyr_sweat:
Hit his bloody stupid head on a bloody stone, after defeating Dark Irons, dragons, Burning Legion, Scourge, and whatnot over the years, woke up a little confused, tried to figure what the heck happend and got supprised by a stinky little fleebag near Greymane Wall.
Woke up caged up in Gilneas where some weirdoes I’ve never seen in my life talked to me as if they knew me and babbled something about curse and helping me.
Not really knowing what in Norganons name happend and noticing a tad bit of more hair on my body and feelign…different, unable to get some usable words out of my…well…some how not working as intended mouth, I complied up until some nightelves explained a bit more undestandable what happened.
I mean, I knew what worgen were and where they came from, have battered some of them years ago in Duskwood, but could’ve never fathomed how the hell I ended up becoming one.
Yet here I am, and pretty much grew very fine with this new situation, took a more suitable name for someone with an occasionally more non-human looking form combined with my profession as warlock.
Yet I have never ever, in all these years, heard even one word against me being whatever bad name you could call one.
Where do you dig these poeple out so frequently :eyes:
I mean, yes, there are of course very weird people in the internet, and in real life, that have the urge to creep up to someone and whisper weird and wonderful kodo dung into your ears or call you bad names etc., but more than once? Maybe twice?
Provided you don’t give them starters for this behaviour by being overly skimpy or the likes with transmoggs, behaviour, emotes, etc. That counts for male characters, too.
But other than that?
Not even my female chars got whispered with weird stuff once, although they have some pretty skimpy outfits and do the regular “RP Walk…in the city…~~sing
Being called a furry “so often” (even if exaggerated) for being a worgen, I don’t know, something smells…off…
In forums and the internet in general, yes, when worgen, vulpera, pandaren, dracthyr got released, people went ape dung calling everyone creating one a depraved furry. But that’s just the internet, the social media part of the internet in general is mostly very far away from reality when it comes to things like this.
Interestingly enough, probably a huge bunch of those people were playing Argonians and Kahjit back in Elder Scroll games without having even the slightest thought about any resemblance to furries :dracthyr_hehe_animated:
So yeah, I allways find it a bit questionable when people claim to be called something “very often” without giving any sort of headstart for people to react like that.

Well you can play a worgen and not be a furry just fine. But worgens are a furry face. Werewolfs is -the- furry stereo type.

But its perfectly legal xD within bounds to play a Worgen just because you think the race is cool.

Making a worgen doesn’t come with a furry membership.

if not wanting or not feeling the urge to F a person dressed up as a Dog/fox/dragon is " not normal " , guess im not normal

bruh… what

what tf

are you actually … insane

thats enough of the internet basement dwellers for me this evening, enjoy your child molesting or sumet i dunno, whatever you guys find “normal”

Ob boy…this “discussion” is taking a very bad turn here…
You’re confusing reality with fantasy.
Interest in, desire for, unrealistic, non existing beings and the likes are in the exact same boat as our urge and enjoyment of virtually killing people while creating/playing games, creating/watching films/shows, writing/reading books.
Remember that when judging people for fantasies vs interacting with real beings, just like you have to differenciate between you loving to kill mobs or players vs people who kill in real life.
Never throw them in the same bag!
Yes, of course there are exceptions, as allways, but in general fantasy stays this: In peoples heads. Most of people do not want things from fantasy happen in real life.

Oh, yeah, Fursuits, Paintball/Softair; LARP, Cosplay, etc. count towards “Fantasy”, not “reality”.
