Thank you so much for this fantastic addition to the shop of World of Warcraft. I can’t believe you are selling such a useful product for only 78€. That’s a mere 1.8 million gold when you buy it through tokens. What a deal!
It’s way too cheap, honestly. Should be like 1k, minimum and two gold caps or three.
I agree. This mount would have been worth at least 10 million gold to me. I guess I’m happy that I only had to pay 1.8 million gold for it, but I almost feel like I stole something.
No, it’s not about that it’s about you have it but not the plebs, the poors, the casuals, the normies. Only the cool kids, rich bois, true goblins should have such a prestigious mount.
Do you also go grocery shopping and act like “Oh man, this steak, it’s only 7 dollars, it should be at least 20”
- I’m vegetarian 2) That comparison is bad.
Oh, that’s what it is: Nobody gives a flying spaghetti, if you have it, or not. If you seek validation for spending money on a video game, people will not see you as cool. The only mounts, some actually care about, are old gladiator mounts from Cata, MoP, Legion, etc. That’s about it
While I think the mount is grossly pay to win. I can’t complain about AH’s standing around everywhere now, because people are showing off
Nobody cares about such mounts. Those mounts don’t even do anything. People care about mounts that have auction houses and mail boxes on them. Those are the only ones that matter.
Don’t get drawn into his gas lighting, he seem to thrive on it
Uhh… pay to win? How is access to auction house and mail box pay to win?
Currently there is no obtainable way to get an Auction House. There isn’t a toy that provides one and the old Mount is no longer available.
The only Mailbox availabie is a toy with a 3 hour cooldown.
Meaning these two services are the rarest to have access to on the fly and you can just buy them if you’re whale enough.
Way easier to trade althought the real bottleneck was crafting. We need an instant craft pet or something.
Blacksmiths have “Alvin the Anvil”
I agree that these services are the most rare, but how are they pay to win?
As they offer you access to a service that is usually meant to keep you in one place. Like bidding on Auctions. Someone without this mount will be locked in a City, near an Auction House in case they get outbid.
Someone with this mount, can simply mount up anywhere, bid again and continue with whatever questing or content they were doing. Giving them an unfair advantage, they were able to get though a Real Money Purchase.
I agree that all these advantages you listed exist, but none of them are pay to win, unless you can explain how.
I guess it depends on your Definition of Pay 2 Win.
For me it means any Real Money Transaction that can give you an Advantage over other Players, which this clearly does.
Your chances to win against other players don’t rise in any way by being able to access auction house and mail box on the go.
You can win auctions. While you’re free to run around and do whatever you want, because you can just pop up an Auction House. While other players are forced to stay locked in place, unable to engage with other parts of the game.
Or they lose the Auction because they’re out doing content instead of standing around the city.
Winning doesn’t just have to be PVP. Even an advantage on the Market is an unfair advantage over other players, that will just help that player play the market even more and make even more gold in the long run.
