You could argue that people who do NOT have the Brutosaur have an advantage, because they don’t waste any time looking into the auction house when they could instead just keep farming. The Brutosaur could be an expensive distraction that takes money right out of your pocket in multiple ways.
The original Brutosaur isn’t P2W however… People who have that really earned it. Getting 7.5 million gold is an exceptional feat, and the people who did it are honestly traders, who have earned the right to have an Auction House.
And no, I don’t have the original Brutosaur myself, just so you don’t think I have a special bias towards that.

Maybe they didn’t get the gold by being honest traders, but by paying to win instead. You will never be able to tell if Brutosaur owners truly earned it.

If someone P2W the original brutosaur that would have been around 700€ (assuming a token price around 300k)

So they could be even worse pay to winners. I’m starting to respect the owners of the new Brutosaur more than the owners of the original one.

I got joy as well. But that will pass in a couple of days. I bought it for the convenience and used tokens for it.
But, i am under no impression this was anything but a scam.
I see this as a superb life-time convenience item. I will never have to worry about access to an auction house or mail box again. That’s great. Paying only 1.8 million gold, which is basically nothing these days? This Brutosaur was almost a free gift.
Yeah, but think about it. If they can do this, they have the ability to let us access the AH and mail through the UI anywhere if they wanted.
They had us feel the value on this, but in reality they manipulated that value. Also through the gold price they put on the previous mount and the scarcity they simulated by removing it.

They also have the ability to make us kill any boss in the game by giving us a kill button for that, but that would be just as senseless.

I’m playing since 2008 and I’ve yet to bid on something. Do you bid often? It always looked to me like the most useless feature of Auction House.
