Sure thing. Here is what I can do:

  1. Buy a level boost from the shop
  2. Buy token from the Blizzard shop and sell it for gold
  3. Buy a level 70-80 boost from a seller
  4. Buy AH gear
  5. Buy Delve/M+/Raid clear to get gear

This list can be expanded toward:

  • Achievements/Mounts
  • PvP/M+ Rating

People even pay for 2nd account to get the Recruit a friend rewards.
Blizzard “support” multi boxing for a reason.

  2. Can earn it while playing the game.
  3. You can level up by playing the game.
  4. You can buy ah items with gold u can earn from playing the game, or other activities.
  5. You can earn gear by playing the game.

All these activites can be done without spending any extra money asisde sub and xpac.

Well if your definition for p2w is to spare time, then sure its p2w, but then again why play the game then?

I didn’t say you can’t do all these things by playing the game. What I’m saying is that having the alternative for real money is what makes WoW pay to win. If it didn’t existed and everything was purely game based then WoW wouldn’t be pay to win.

I have no issue with people getting this mount and I might even buy it myself tbh, but there will be people with way more money than any forum dwellers that don’t buy the mount and simply spend their money on things that people on here can’t even dream of affording. You don’t need to be wealthy to buy this mount lol.

Well if this your definiton to p2w, then sure its p2w for you.

My definintion for p2w is, that u cant earn something from the game that gives u advantage in power without spending real money.

There are many others games that sells bis gear and power upgrades which u can never earn by playing the game (or takes years to get it).

Sofar wow is nowhere near this.

Fine lets call it p2w elements which make my life easier. I personally don’t farm gold. I just buy tokens and sell them for gold. I gear my character from professions and and M+ as I like doing this content.

I am very happy with my original longboi for which I made cloth pants to vendor few months before it was removed from vendor. that time the pants could proc rare quality which gave a bit more vendor gold. I crafted pants next to a vendor so i could sell them when the 140 bag slots were full. it was time consuming but it was worth it and I would do it again :slight_smile:
Nothing beats the original :slight_smile:
