I pay 1g for a stack of lvl55 crystal water and so should other people

Why not? Why would I spend my own time and mana because someone else is too cheap to go to a vendor to get it?

We’re not talking about a dungeon group here. Reading comprehension.

I find it ironic how charging for a service is greed, but refusing to pay for something just because you don’t want to is apparently not?..

If you approach someone for something, you should tip first, without prompt. Just because the other person is taking time to help you. Nobody owes you anything.

Welcome to Zoomerland!

This is our latest self-centered entitled outcry. Stand by as we corrupt the community with our egoistical doctrine.

Faerie Fire - 25 silver per cast

Buffs - 20 silver each per person, 18 silver if you take the group buff

Healing - 10 silver per heal or a fixed cost depending on the level of the dungeon

Healing in off spec - 50 silver per heal, you have to book this option in advance

Mana - 5 silver per 5 seconds spend drinking, if you add 5 gold i “may” use Innervate during the run

These are the basic ones, if you want to see a in-depth list contact us at "i-care-only-about-myself@yahoo.com"

p.s. I know everything, everyone else is dumb.

what a dumb comparison. did you even read the thread or just decided to go into keyboard warrior mode?

its not about dungeon groups and its way more selfcentred to expect everyone running to feed you because you cant be arsed.

nowadays kids like you who expect everyone to carry everything for them and clean afterwards because you are a lazy clown

I’ll gladly tip if I ask random mages for food or water but 1g a stack is ridiculous. I’ll tip 1g sure but for like 4 stacks. After all, it’s polite to at least give something in return if you are asking for stuff - just like I expect to be tipped from opening lockboxes or enchanting. Friends, guildies and party members of course get stuff for free but that’s where the charity ends.

Well that’s it, you are not spending any gold. Someone else not wanting to spend their money does not mean you are spending your money. It costs nothing to you.

I could say why buff someone for free, when they’re just being lazy and not buying a flask?

its his time and mana that you pay for

I once paid a rogue 5 gold to open a lock box and you all should to!

I was being sarcastic as i am not a zoomer, but its easy to see how they (you) are thinking.

I suppose. It depends on context. If its a random mage who you run past and you ask them if they can give you some food or water then yeah i would tip them a few silveres.
But most of the time food/water is created while in a group, which is what I’d assume all the talk on this forum is about. Which is… not scummy, not wrong, just a bit against the atmosphere of what I feel this game is about. Don’t know why you would want to act so selfish to people in your group, people who are helping you.

Conjuring is a part of Mage class just as buffs are part of Paladin class.

this thread is definitely not about dungeon groups.

Nobody will ask nor have ever ask for gold while in a dungeon group since its a reason to bring a mage.

whole thing here is definitely about passing mages in open world and ask them for food/water

Its simple making 6 stacks oif 55 water costs more than 1 full mana bar, which takes time and effort.

Some people just don’t want to do it, which makes it so that people start using gold to entice mages to get this water.

So yes there is a reason to pay up for it, same reason people pay for summons if they really need some one to get where they are while this warlock is doing other stuff.

Ofc it still depends on the player and thats whats its al about.

But everyone else here making jokes about gold for heals or whatever don’t get it. Inside a dungeon is another story where everything u have is an asset to a better run.

Not the same as standing in IF and u have an average of 10 people over 3 hours asking for 6 stacks of water.

When there is demand there is profit, simple.

Manny rogues offer to open locked boxes because they want an easy time to level up the skill, they sometimes even gave money for opening boxes.

Logical question then…
How much should I charge with my priest for a buff if I pass near someone in the open world and he asks me for it ?

The OP said outside of dungeons, which suggests he means when grouping with people in quests etc.

I dont really know as I haven’t encountered a mage asking for money for food.

While leveling i’ve always helped out and gave some food to people, but u know there can be times when u are on a scedule, and mana = time or low mana = risk on getting killed.

Buffing is something that costs you no time, it’s an instant spell. Conjuring requires me to stop and spend time casting, drinking and casting again. I’m not gonna do it in the open world for a stranger unless you make it worth my time

EDIT: the only exception, ofc, is if Im waiting for a zeppelin or a ship. Even then though, it depends if I feel like it or not

I’m gonna charge 50s for each taunt and mocking blow since it’s apparently normal to ask money for abilities.

I can tell you that casting stamina, specially at lower level, costs a non negligible amount of mana points. And unlike mages, a priest does NOT have FREE drinks to get that mana back !
So you want my buff which will cost me MONEY to compensate for the loss of mana ?
I’m no longer buffing mages from now on.
