I really hope we get Classic WOTLK back. I have been missing it so much

ok prove it, show logs

I don’t think i need to prove anything to you, but nice way to cope by just assuming everyone who doesn’t wotlk is bad. Meanwhile i prefer Cata over wotlk where raids are even harder

I think you do and the fact you wont post from a relevant character and you wont post any logs shows I was 100% correct

Yes except you contradict yourself, you assume i didn’t like Wotlk because raids too hard, yet i prefer Cata where raids are even harder. at this point i’m convinced that you are a troll.

+1 for bringing back a TBC server or 2, +100 for bringing back wrath, proper wrath without all the Mythic dungeon rubbish. Wrath was my Jam and my wife loved it too

ok show either logs, wotlk or cata.

I really like how the classes play and how it expands the world but not in a bad way like Cata did. I also just really like how the game felt to me and I love the story of the expansion. Classic Era is great but I miss Classic WOTLK

The heroic dungeons were a joke and the first raid tier , except Sarth3d 10m, even more so. Not sure how that could satisfy someone.

Actually that was one of the better decisions in my view.

You could jump into the raids right after leveling. No need to farm any sort of bis in dungeons. Once you hit level 80 you were good to go. For most of the raids it doesn’t matter, if half of your equipment still consists of level greens.

that’s bad, that’s like skipping an entire tier, the heroic dungeon tier.
There is something satisfying to collect your dungeon tier and get the attunement done, it feels like working toward a goal.

And it’s very casual friendly. Unlike raid which need some level of organisation, perhaps a guild, a specific schedule and a few hour commitment, dungeon running are bite size content, ranging from 15 to 45 minutes for most, and can be done anytime.

Rushing from leveling straight into raidlogging feels sad. That is why i so love the start of expansions, when i start to replace my quest greens by dungeon blues and later raid purples, the progression feels palpable.

After that, it’s all purple, only difference is the ilevel, it doesn’t feel as good.

Depends on what you want to do. I had joined a progression guild back in 2008 and the goal was raiding.

Members were expected to level quick and join the raid asap. And although many members had met before in TBC or even Vanilla and knew each other: It was a newly founded guild and members mostly had new characters at the start.

Obviously you were not just raiding at the beginning. Dungeons were run for materials too. So it was not only raid logging. And bots didn’t really matter in the first weeks.

The balancing allowed us to jump right into Naxx with level greens. But there was still the leveling of professions, the achievements, getting rep up… there was plenty to do in the first months.

And really, if you’re part of a dedicated progression guild, the heroic dungeons in WotLK never were a challenge in guild runs, no matter the equipment. A couple of the achievements maybe. But the heroic dungeons were not really different compared to normal dungeons with those players.

It’s different for a casual setup of course.

I tried warmane like 2 yearrs ago during shadowlands being bad
And i really enjoyed first season where they tried a progression but i do not remember how that server was called
And it was actually fun cause it was like xp x5 professions x5 or something like that

Warmane is on the TBC prepatch right now. TBC launch later this month. This is my back up plan if blizzard does not announce a TBC server this November 13th.
